Bought this to put in my big demo hammer box to always have a ground rod driver. It works amazing, first time I used it, I drove 16 ground rods in a few hours and the driver did not show any wear. It fit perfectly into an SDS drill and was quick to get started. For the cost, this performs as well as any name brand ground rod driver I’ve used. Great value purchase for sure. Highly recommend this to any electrician looking to add a ground rod driver to their tool box without breaking the bank.

Put in one ground rod by hand using sledgehammer, it took several minutes, works better with someone holding rod, and if you miss you can ruin hammer. With this product (and demmo hammer) put in six more rods in less than ten minutes with very little effort. Great product, did not stick to rod as some other drivers are reported to do.

I tried a bunch of ways to DIY a post driving solution. I should have just gotten this unit. No problems so far. Look, you're still driving a T-post with a tall object, so you still need to get up on something like a truck or ladder, but this is a huge labor saver if you already have an SDS-Max hammer or some sort and the alternative is the ol' tube with handles!

Easy to drive in 8' ground rod with SDS-Max and this bit; maybe a bit expensive for a chunk of steel, but it does exactly what it should, in this day and age that counts for a lot! - Recommended.

This was my third attempt to purchase a ground rod driver, other brands wouldn't fit or work, yet I am happy with this one. It fit the chuck of my jack hammer without pause and worked fine while driving several ground rods. My only gripe is that chisels are of a length to keep debris out of the jackhammer's chuck area, yet this driver is of that same length, but driving ground rods does not generate debris and the extra length works against you trying to hold it above the rod you want to start driving. In some tight spaces I had to start a hole by hand to get clearance to fit the hammer and driver above. Wish they had shortened the shaft.
