As pictured. Fit my Hoover attachment hose perfectly. Worked well getting under furniture and bed to vacuum up dust. Brush fibers stayed in place.

The reason why I bought this is because the new Kenmore 81414 vacuum I just bought had a stupid, small, cheap, ineffective floor brush that didn’t do anything. It was very small, narrow, small brushes and it was very out of proportion to the vacuum and made it difficult to pick up dust, etc. So I saw a need to purchase a wider brush that would actually do something. Tried this on my new vacuum and it works just like I hoped it would. It’s sturdy, is wide enough and the brushes are thick. Shame on Kenmore for manufacturing such a piece of crap floor brush and the fact I had to purchase a new brush for a new vacuum is annoying, but it annoyed me so much and made it difficult to vacuum effectively in my wood floors. As you can see from the photo, the new brush (on the right) far exceeds the cheap one sent with the Kenmore vacuum.

I originally bought this for my Bissell upright because it doesn’t have a floor attachment. The first floor of my house is laminate faux wood that shows every strand of cat fur and fluff. The Bissell just blows this fluff around. I have owned two Bissells over the span of the last 15 or so years, and the attachments are all the same size. My boyfriend’s Bissell too that’s a different model has the same sized attachments. This attachment DOES NOT FIT any of these Bissells. (These Bissells are the Lift Off, the Pet Hair Eraser, and some super cheap bagless one from Big Box Mart). It’s close, but not close enough to make it work. Maybe I’ll buy an adapter someday. That said, the quality of this attachment is amazing. Yes, it’s plastic, but it’s that tough plastic that can be stepped on and bumped into things and won’t break. The bristles are in the just right range: not too stiff to scratch my floors but also not to soft to deform and end up sticking out every which way. So you can treat this to the abuse that any floor nozzle would take. I’m going to keep it because of the quality, and it does fit on my old Kenmore Progressive canister. This canister, by the way, also accepts Miele and Panasonic parts, so if you’re looking for a replacement, this might work. I think Sears did some rebranding with their appliances..? The canister already has a floor tool, but that’s also my favorite attachment, so why not have a backup :) Oh, and if you were wondering, it does pick up dust and fluffy cat fur off of my horrible to clean floors, which is what it’s supposed to do. So I’m happy. I’ve also bought vacuum parts from Our Pampered Home multiple times and they’re great. The items from their store are always the item pictured and not some counterfeit knock off which is becoming all too common. I recommend them.

This worked like a champ when I vacuumed a popcorn ceiling prior to painting it and I used it to vacuum inside the edges of the overhead ceiling AC ducts after removing the registers! The swivel function of the brush attachment is a little tricky to get used to but is easily worth the few minutes of the learning curve.

Perfect replacement for my Oreck canister vac!

I got this for vacuuming dust off our terrible popcorn ceiling... but despite the "soft touch" description, the bristles are very, VERY stiff, easily knocking off little popcorn "kernels". It gets worse if you "push" the vacuum away from you... so I tend to very gingerly "pull" it towards me instead. That said, the narrow depth and wide width is good, and those stiff bristles have come in handy when I needed to vacuum a hard floor.

Covers more floor than my previous 9” floor brush. Female end fits my male attachment. Faster vacuuming.
