Excellent Strimmer for use on garden, and ideal for my allotment work.
Out of the box it went together easily i didn't even bother with the instructions much to my wife's chagrin :) i bought it for my allotment which i recently acquired, it was heavily overgrown with clumps of nettles long grass and the dreaded dock leaves, no electricity there so i checked out battery driven strimmer's on Amazon, this one had decent reviews and looked to be good enough for what i required? so i bought it and then decided to check the bad reviews, my heart sank as i read some of these and thought i had made a mistake with the choice i made, anyhow i charged the battery's that turned green after 5 mins charge so they obviously come charged, plus the spare battery is a good addition to the product, and trotted off to my allotment to give it a try, my allotment size is thirty yards long by 8 yards wide so not a bad size. i was pleasantly surprised by the power of this light piece of kit which happily cut through nettles, dock leaves, and tall grass and tbh made short work of the tasks i set it? so i am quite stumped by some of the poor feedback? i swapped the battery after about 35 minutes for the spare one and carried on with my work for another 35 mins before that ran out, but by this time i had covered most of my allotment. i just wish i had my phone with me to show pictures of before and after? and another plus is i finished with the same blade i started with so i still have the 30 blades left that came free with this product, this is a honest review of my experience using it, and i would not hesitate in recommending it highly for garden and allotment work, its easy to set up light and intuitive to use, the guard is firmly attached, and i find the blades adequate? as lets face it i only used one, and not finished with that one yet. i really am stumped with some of the poor feed back it receives, and so glad i bought it on the strength of the good reviews it receives. all in all its excellent for my needs and has exceeded my expectations. so its 10/10 from me cant wait to go back and finish my allotment off :) Super product it really is. follow up report....with pictures and video i cant believe these blades? that came with the strimmer they are incredible, i did all this work with two blades, after three sessions and none broke? just wore down, believe me this is a honest review, see the before and after pics? you can see the job its doing, so glad i bought this piece of kit, its saved me endless hours of sorting my allotment out. and i'm really happy with it, people leaving bad reviews on this product have probably been trying to cut down trees with it? its a strimmer folks, it cuts Grass, Dock leaves,Nettles, Thin brambles not established ones, great for tall grass (see pics) battery is efficient, and great that you get 2. cant really say any more about it...get one..highly recommended, fact.

Works.
I never had much faith in battery tools but I got this as I was just about fed up with trying to start my old petrol strimmer. This is way easier to start of course and does light cutting, nothing heavy. Battery life is just about what you would expect. Just average, i'd reckon 20-30mins or so. Charges quite quickly though and it comes with two batteries which is nice. One annoyance is that the guard won't stay on. It's very, very flimsy and comes off at a touch but you can use it without it on as it's not powerful enough it's going to cut your leg off or anything. You need to change the blade every time you take it out as they last no time at all. Fortunately they have made this very easy to do.

great strimmer
Finally, a solution to bobby allotment edges and pathways! I tried using a petrol lawnmower and scratched my previous car getting it in and out and then it didn't work for me. Tried push mower but they got stuck on undulating grassy bits and it was all a bit frustrating and annoying. Allotment neighbours were good in mowing the edges when they did theirs, but I still wanted to contribute and keep my own edges in check the dandelions and grassy bits were getting on my nerves and too much to do with hand shears and not effective on grass closer to the ground, etc. Used one battery tonight just before a rain shower and it lasted about 40mins. Both batteries seem to charge up pretty quickly. Still working with the most comfortable cutting angle and handle length but it was quick and easy to put together, and it seems relatively lightweight but sturdy to use and is effective. It's so satisfying to use at the allotment compared to a petrol lawnmower etc. Just less of a headache and can be used for edging too. Would recommend

Remarkably light and works well.
Great piece of kit! I am 76-yrs-old and have a one-third-acre garden. This cordless strimmer is remarkably light and, using the blades, works well for even very long grass and moderate brush. The battery outlasts me! I have not bothered using the line cutter as the blades suit my needs perfectly. Great value for money - strongly recommended!

NOt fit for purpose - DON'T make the mistake I did.
Purchased in May 2024. Coming with two batteries was an attractive idea, I have an allotment and even a relatively short grass path and whilst it’s not overly long, or wide, my old strimmer battery did not stay the course. Therefore let’s start with the positive about this strimmer, the two batteries each last a reasonable time and I’ve been able to strim the grass path without fear of the batteries charge running out. That is the only positive I can offer, other than that this strimmer is hopeless. I expect blades to wear out, even on light work, but I’ve probably lost more blade, the ones supplied at time of purchase, as they fly off whilst cutting the grass, same happens when trimming edges of the lawn at home. The motor will run either at a reasonable 'whir' or start to screech. The metal 'guard' will not stay extended. I know that 'replacement blades for this strimmer can be purchased, but I’ll not bother, I’ll buy a proper strimmer, with a corded cutter and put the last year 'down to experience! As I say, even for 'light duties' this strimmer has proved itself to be NOT fit for purpose.
