Which is better (in your opinion) original or ranch? I hoping this is the same seasoning we used to have at school for our fries?

Original is much better, and it does not play out like ranch, LOL don’t know if they ever served this in school, if they did I would have been very happy with School lunch. OK future references, I keep a container on the table and keep a container in the cabinet, I usually buy two at once..... you pay for what you get, if it is cheap it taste cheap.

I need someone to testify if this season tastes nearly or exactly like lays bbq potato chips? i'm trying to replicate the bbq tater tots from sonic.

I can’t say I’m familiar with the sonic product. The seasoning is more ranch than BBQ but subtle. Good luck

Great seasoning for fries. Coat the fries for the best flavor. If you treat it like a salt shaker you'll taste nothing after baking. Round 2 and a great coating I had great fries. The key is a large baking tray and evenly spread fries - no piles. Combine with non-stick foil and you will not have to flip them halfway or worry about any stuck.
