RingConn Gen 2 Air, Ultra-Thin AI Smart Ring, No APP Subscription

Brought this after returning the Oura ring ceramic, fit is so much more sleek and stylish.I’ve been wearing it now for over 6 weeks and it’s like a part of me I don’t feel it- at first it felt alien so don’t worry the feeling goes away.The charge lasts 8-9 days normally - absolutely brilliant - charges quickly as well within maybe 1.5 hrs from dead to fully charged.The sleep detection is this rings super power - does a fantastic job.One thing I found is I started wearing it on my non dominant hand as it was registering steps just from hand gestures, but once I swapped it on the non dominant hand that stopped. It does learn your movement over time.Now I’ve done that it’s super accurate- I’ve compared my steps to my Apple Watch that I wear during the day and it’s pretty much spot on.It is very durable but I’ve scratched mine washing pots and pans so metal on metal is a no go.Connects super easily to the FREE app, the app also has some great features for tracking your health.Overall I’m super pleased and I think for the money it’s worth trying if your looking to be extra aware like me.

It’s much more comfortable for sleep tracking than any watch I’ve owned.​No Subscription Fees: This was the dealbreaker for me. You buy the ring, and you own all your data. The app is incredibly detailed and doesn't hide your insights behind a paywall.​Comprehensive Tracking: The AI-powered insights for sleep, heart rate, stress, and SpO2 (blood oxygen) feel very accurate. I especially love the "Sleep Insights" which help me understand my recovery.​Durable & Waterproof: I’ve worn it in the shower and while swimming with no issues (IP68 rated). The stainless steel finish is also holding up great against scratches.​Helpful Tips for Buyers:​Get the Sizing Kit First: Smart ring sizes don't always match standard jewelry sizes. Use the RingConn sizing kit and wear the plastic ring for 24 hours to ensure a perfect fit (fingers swell at night!).​Charging: It comes with a sleek magnetic charging dock. It doesn't have the "charging case" of the standard Gen 2, but since the battery lasts 10 days, the dock is perfectly fine for home use.​App Syncing: It syncs perfectly with both Apple Health and Google Fit, which is great if you want to keep all your health data in one place.​Bottom Line: If you want a premium, ultra-thin smart ring that tracks everything accurately without charging you a monthly fee, the Gen 2 Air is the winner. I bought this as other not expensive brands require a monthly subscription for the app but this one doesn’t. However I ended up returning it as the tracking is awful, it tracks way more activity and steps than you’ve actually done and doesn’t recognise when you’re exercising, it tells you in the app that it thinks there’s been activity but you have to go in a write what it is you’ve done. This isn’t reliable either as mine said it picked up activity when I was actually just in the car driving to work. The app isn’t the greatest either, the recordings are basic and doesn’t give in the moment readings, you have to wear it for a period of time before it shows any recordings.The ring colour is also a lot darker than it looks on the photo, but the actually quality of the ring itself and the thickness of it was good but just not functional at all as a fitness ring.

Absolutely love the look of this ring, I ordered the dune gold and the colour is so pretty! The ring itself is not bulky at all and looks very sleek! (way nicer on the eye in comparison to an Oura Ring) The app is brilliant, great features and super easy to use! However my only negative with this ring is the battery life! I believe it’s advertised to last 10-12 days, whereas mine only lasts 6-7 days? Although this is still a decent amount of time, I would have liked to have got what was advertised! I am unsure whether I’ve received a faulty one as I seem to be the only one with this issue! I have had this ring for 2 weeks and it will need to be charged a 3rd time in 2 days… I will most likely have to return and see if I can get a replacement. It’s a shame as I do really love this ring other than that!

Love this ring, does everything I want it to without subscription

This was initially such a great buy, a cheaper version of the Oura ring. However, the battery started deteriorating after 6 months. It wouldn’t hold charge as long as it used to, so I wouldn’t recommend. The new Oura ring 5 is lighter and thinner than this, despite the subscription you have to pay, I do think it is better than this one.

2 days and so far so good! It's very accurate and easy to wear. I got a size 8 which I wear in my thumb, it doesn't look to big and I researched a lot to find the thinnest type without subscription!

I initially had a really good experience with this ring and would have gladly recommended it. However, I’ve had the ring for a little over a year now and the accuracy and quality deteriorated very fast and the battery life has become completely unreliable. I’ve had to charge the ring multiple times a day now and the ring dies while I’m sleeping so the tracking is completely off. I’ve reached out to customer support as I assume there is some fault with the ring.

I like this ring brand the most because it has a lot of data and has no monthly fee. The ring sizes are very different from normal ring sizes - for example: A size 4.5 ring was a 7 in these.The sleep data was impressive. It could tell when I was laying in bed and when I was sleeping. If you are wanting a smart ring this is a good choice.

Great ring and pretty useful for sleep and steps tracking. Adjustment set is pretty useful and instructions are clear. So far, nothing to complain about. Pretty good quality for the price on the market.

Love my Ringconn! It does everything the oura does for half the price and no monthly subscription fee. It’s also sleeker and less bulky which is something I prefer.The app is awesome and easy to use it has different sections for stress, sleep, vital signs, activity, exercise and cycle tracking. The dune gold colour is super cute it’s like a darker rose gold/bronze colour which is beautiful.10/10 would recommend

Love this ring. So far it works great and is so comfortable to wear. One thing I’ve noticed is that the steps are way off sometimes. But I do understand that it could be hard to track as every hand movement could indicate a step without having GPS tracking. Getting 10 days out of a charge so far. The finish in Dune Gold is beautiful. So far so good!Update: It has been almost a year and I still love my ring. It had a slight battery issue and I let the company know as I was giving feedback and they replaced the ring with a new one no problem! Great customer service since I wasn’t even asking for a new ring, just letting them know, and they did it anyway. Love RingConn! Will continue with RingConn

Sorry for a very late review but I just realized, good seller deserves such appreciation and good review. I bought this last November 2025 as a gift to a friend. Very useful as it tracks his sleep pattern, time, apnea and track his activity and exercise. Good for health and wellness app with no expensive subscription required. Thanks seller
