Review: Very good quality! - Iโve worked in the industrial supply business for over 40 years. I bought these just to give them a try for a job. Iโm doing on an old hot rod. They work awesome better than anything. I could find in the industry I work in. I highly suggest them and will continue to use them in the future. Review: Exceptional value for the money! - I picked these up to try to use to strip ancient paint and rust from a 60 year old 8ftx12ft flatbed for my antique truck. Normally I would use sand blasting to strip stuff like this, but it was a bit too big to get in to my shop area, and doing it outside would have wasted an awful lot of expensive media without a good way to reclaim it. These were FAR cheaper than what it would cost to erect a temporary shelter to contain the sand blast media, so I took the gamble.... I went through less than 2 of them to do the whole thing. For the people complaining that they fall apart - you absolutely need to keep these from grabbing any kind of edge that's not rounded over, and make sure you're rotating the disc off the edge, rather than on it. So if turning clockwise, run the top side of the disc over an edge on the right, bottom side over an edge on the left. Letting the disc grab an edge will destroy it FAST. You also can't use them as grinders to cut down broken screws, nails, sharp weld edges, etc. It would have been nice to have a bit more aggressive cutting (and I suspect that might be what the different colors are, such as blue and gray), but it wasn't a deal breaker. At this rate, 10 will last me quite some time, but I will absolutely be buying more when the time comes.

Great on paint
I used these to grind away old latex paint on siding. Works great. Definitely wear gloves as these will grind away your skin. Be very careful when getting into the wood as it will sand away wood just as easy as that dried paint. Great for getting into tight corners up to a point. They don't last very long....so you will go through a lot of these when grinding off latex paint. Definitely wear eye protection, face shield and a dust mask isn't a bad idea either.

Strips car paint well!
Working on a 1940โs car and looked for paint stripper but they have changed the product and it dosnt work as well so I started looking for a substitute I came across this. My car has two layers of paint and the bottom is lacquer the top looked to be painted on with a brush I used two pads at a time on two grinders the first pat I remove the top layer or so of paint and it comes off fast the other pad I only use on the lacquer it cuts slower and is fairly gummy but dose clean it off fairly quickly it clogs up that pad a fair amount and to clean it I run it on cement a few turns. I have stripped two doors and the quarter panels not including fenders with the two pads and think I can do more before changing them. I would say I can do the outside of a door on that car in 45 min or less. The sand scratches that it leaves are not bad at all! Just let the pad do the cutting and move around a bit to cut down on heat. Nothing has warped at all and I like using them better then stripper.
