This is a very classy and high-capacity USB thumb drive. The glass block looks absolutely gorgeous to my sci-fi obsessed office work eyes. I feel satisfied in what I got for the price. The only thing I might note for your consideration is that this is a little heavier than you may expect, if that matters, and as I stated it is glass. So, this might not be ideal for use in a room with concrete or hard tile flooring. I feel confident that it could be chipped like any other glass. To me, all that is worth it for what is easily the most eye-catching thumb drive I have ever seen. The way the shiny metal cap slides off is a lot like a lid on lipstick or perfume. This item has a luxry feel, even though it arrives in a little plain metal tin with a clear window, like the way some novelty items are packaged in a gift shop. That said, I would suggest you discard the packaging, get this thing engraved on the metal or etched on the glass, and find a box more like for jewelry. Then you can load the drive with romatic content like photos and words and songs and give it to your significant other. I bet they would really like it. This thing deserves a more fancy presentation with some engraving or ethcing.

Sure, I bought this flash drive to store data...well, a movie, actually...but the glistening, streamlined beauty of it has made me revise my work space. First, I cleared a place on my desk to display its glassy perfection. Then I cleared everything away to give it the attention and focus it deserves. Then I stopped working altogether and spent hours staring at it, mesmerized by its clear, weighty presence. It exerted a zen-like power over me. Now, my allergies have cleared up. My dog obeys me. The cat has given me to understand that she might obey someday, too. I have let my home and garden deteriorate while I meditate on the flash drive's incredible loveliness. The dishevelment and disarray surrounding it have only served to accentuate its beauty as the one spot of dust-free, clutter-free existence in my life. Someday, I may even watch the movie that resides within it. But nothing could equal the pleasure of staring for hours on end at the cube-like transparency of the paragon of flash drives. Nothing.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Fast and good quality

While this drive looks pretty, the read/write speed is PAINFULLY slow. Took over 3 hours to transfer 2gb. THEN when trying to review the photos that were transferred to the drive, the drive would just unmount itself from the computer as if its not plugged in. Could not get thru 3 or 4 photos before it would just unmount. Tried on both MAC and PC. Reformatted and tried again. Tried transferring and reading from different computers...Nada. Complete garbage

Not the fastest thumb drive, but definitely the prettiest! I'm using it to put meaningful pictures of our family and plan to eventually give it as a gift to my mom. A regular thumb drive would seem like an odd gift; somehow the look of this makes it appropriate and impressive. The transfer speed is okay-ish on a 3.1 USB port. There is no way I'd have the patience on a 1.0 to do 32GB of data. There is no hole to place this on a key ring, and frankly, it's too heavy. Appropriate for gifting, denoting special meaning, or just being fancy. Practical? Nope.

I am so in love with this thumb drive I cannot even tell you how impressed I am with the quality and aesthetic appeal it has. It came packaged beautifully in a little tin with padding around it and a see-through window on tin's top. Plus, the price cannot be beat. This arrived on time and I am thrilled with this purchase.
