I love these cameras. I liked my first one so much I bought another and might even get more. They are definitely good if you want it as a hidden camera, but they also work amazing as a regular indoor home security camera. They don’t have to be plugged in at all times, so they can be used wherever needed. (It’s not waterproof or anything though) - The 2K HD video quality looks great during the day or night, it can also record audio with decent quality (the closer the better) - They can be used on battery or plugged in (with included micro usb cable) offering versatility in placement - The battery life is quite good, easily going for hours when constantly recording, to weeks on standby/rare motion occurrences. -You can insert a micro sd card up to 256gb for storage, and all sd card videos can be easily accessed from your phone, no need to take it out of the camera. That in itself sort of functions as a “cloud” as long as there is an available internet connection (this camera works with both 2.4ghz and 5ghz WiFi) BUT ALSO… each camera also comes with its own FREE cloud data service, and can store recordings from the past 3 days! That’s awesome! It’s not a “free trial” like similar other cams, it’s an included free, optional benefit. This camera does not need any sort of monthly subscription fee or additional cost to use. They offer additional longer cloud storage plans if you would like, but are in no way necessary for the camera to function. The app is also easy to use and has many different options and settings to configure it in the best way for your intended purpose. Adjusting video quality, motion detection, clip recording length, power/standby settings to save battery life, and more. Through the app it is also very quick and easy to view or save video clips to your phone from either the camera internal sd card or cloud. And to top it all off, they have great customer service - through exploring the app I saw there was a promotion for a free year trial of their 30 day cloud storage, which they happily were able to activate for me. No credit card or payment required. After comparing it to the 3 day, it definitely can be a very nice feature, especially since for someone who travels often or is regularly gone for longer than 3 days at a time. Their additional plans are very reasonably priced if you wanted to increase to either 15 or 30 days of cloud storage. It’s only a few bucks, and you get 10% off for each additional camera. Compared to Ring or most other security camera companies, this one is a better price, and is not even a requirement. In my case my second camera will be perfectly fine with the free 3 days of cloud storage included, but I might decide to pay the $3.99 a month for the other camera which is in a way busier location. My mom has 2 Ring cameras that cost $10 a month each. Her mandatory fees for just 1 month could buy one of these cameras, and they honestly have better video quality, and can do the same things that she likes about the ring cams, for no monthly fee. I’m very pleased with this camera. There aren’t too many cons, and most of these things are industry standard, but the minor downsides preventing these from being the PERFECT cameras; -The camera is stationary. You can’t remotely adjust its viewing angles or anything. -Clips recorded to the cloud must be first triggered by motion detection, and the clips are limited to 30 seconds max per clip; if the motion event goes on longer, it still keeps recording but the clips will just be split into multiple 30 second videos depending on how long the motion was recorded. This is the same clip length for most security cameras, it’s the standard “cloud” clip length of 30 seconds. Only a few offer even a minute or longer, and it all has to do with saving data and making everything stream and be viewable fast - for me it only takes a few seconds to download or view a clip. However, when recording to the SD card (this camera records to both by default setting) the clips can be up to 5 minutes each, and you can make the camera record from either a set time schedule or continuously record 24/7, or whichever setting you choose. I only have 64gb sd cards in mine, and with my settings it can easily last 2 weeks before it starts recording over its oldest footage. And it can use an SD card with over triple the storage as the one I’m using. All in all, I think these cameras are great and are good for more than a “spy” camera. They’re compact, but have a lot to offer.

I thought it would give me option to record the video with the help of app, but when i leave the app, the video recording stops. It should keep it recording. It should give this option that : If a phone is connected to a mobile then if the user wants to record and save all the video inside that mobile then it should transmit that video and record that even at the backend/ background of that specific app.

I have to admit i didn't have very high expectations when buying this ZTTAOLII mini camera. for the price I really figured it would be junk & I'd be looking for another one by now. but i was definitely wrong, this camera is amazing with so many features that way more spendy cameras don't have or don't do as well. I have nothing at all bad to say. it does way more than I thought it would, & pic, video, sound, battery are all great i would definitely buy more witch I might do. & I recommend it to anyone looking for a mini camera. I am so amazed by the quality, ease of use, features & expected a piece of $h!+ that I'm almost at a loss of words & will come back after a while & update this post. but , it's amazing! even if it was more expensive it would still be worth buying, but since it was so cheap makes the purchase even that much better. Great job whoever is the company that makes these. so often these days the quality doesn't match the price or the value is not there witch leaves you regretting many things purchased. but i feel this could cost more yet they sell it cheap so anyone who need one can get a very nice lil cam, & to that I say wow thanks for not being greedy. I was almost mad at first because it was late to get here from what it said when bought. but after first use the wait was well worth it. OK I'm rambling because I can't say enough about this lil amazing thing. again I will buy again, I do recommend anyone seeing this review to buy it & to the company keep up the good work . & thank you!

Missed a lot of activities going on around it. You have to charge it constantly. So every 8 hours you are charging it. After 3 days you have to get a cloud subscription. It misses alot durning playback. For example… my neighbor pulled up in his car. Playback shows the car pulling up and just sitting there. Why is it not showing people getting out of the car? There is no 30 seconds of recording. The playback is like 3 seconds. I guess u only get the 30 seconds if you buy the cloud subscription from them. I’m not sure if I am willing to give them my personal information to them in China just for a cloud subscription. Wondering if they are able to access it or my info. They set the subscription up for u. …Item is going back. Strange … after I uninstalled their app . I changed my router password to be safe. I went into my phone WiFi setting to update my new router wifi password I noticed that my phone security settings had been changed to open security not secure. Had to call my Internet company to help me get it back to secure again. Strange coincidence ???? .I was not able to delete my account from the app. I emailed them and not having much luck.

This "spy camera" is not bad. It can run off internal battery and mine has run for almost a week before needing a charge. This depends on how sensitive you set the motion detector, and how much it gets activated to record. it comes with a power supply so you can just plug it in if you want. If the electricity goes out it is still recording. The picture is very nice and clear. The app that you access it with, is very easy to use as well. I have 3 cameras now at different locations to keep an eye on things. We have display space at a couple antique malls and it is nice to be able to keep an eye on your antiques. You can view live as well. You get 3 days of cloud storage for each camera, for FREE! The replay of the cloud files is good and you get to see a preview of the clip scene which makes it easier to find what you want. You can pay them for extra cloud storage if you like. I chose to add a micro SD card to the unit and it records there as well. You can access this card remotely from the app as well. In effect, crating your own "cloud storage". The downside is that there is no preview pic associated with the stored files on the card, but it is time stamped. I gave it only 4 stars because it can record audio, which is what I wanted as well, but it is a very poor recording and you fan only make out the loudest portions of the recording. Most of the audio I have had so far is useless. The setup instruction is not as easy and clear as it could be. I work in IT and I cold figure it out easily, but others may have problems with it. Basic translation issues.
