The projector can light up a full room with great details. The colors pop and are amazing. I use it when I read at night. I was also hoping to use it when I work and listen to music at the same time, but I got to say that the sound control kind of suck. It doesn't detect sound very much: I can literally put it next to my speaker and it doesn't detect anyting.

Bought this as my daughter's first "big girl nightlight" and it failed all expectations. It turns off after 4 hours, plunging her room into pitch dark, which caused her to wake up screaming like clockwork. The remote and device controls are poorly labeled, dont do what you would expect them to do. The instructions do explain the button functions, though. The green stars are not pretty, the aurora effect is rather ugly and does not resemble an aurora in any way. And because the aurora doesnt look like an aurora, the moon and clouds projection just looks random and ridiculous. The projector ball is quite heavy, the charging cord is very short and causes issues when trying to set it up to point where you want it, and the magnet that secures the projector to the base is just awkward. Not strong enough to be useful and not weak enough to be inconsequential. Altogether a poor product. Updated review: while I was unimpressed with the product, I'm very happy with their customer service. They promptly reached out to offer full refund or to replace the product with a different type for no extra charge. Received the refund on the same day, as well.
