The Art of Lenormand Reading: Decoding Powerful Messages

This book has been a wonderful addition to help me decipher my Lenormand Readings! It is clearly laid out and easy to understand. This item arrived well packaged and on time by the seller.

An excellent reference book giving interpretations not given elsewhere - except the equally wonderful Rana George book on the subject . The only slight impairment is that Mr.Musruck is not a native english speaker and has not had a spell check. This does not detract to the work he has provided though. Excellent

Well written, very easy to understand. Highly recommended.

This is a very well-produced book: high quality printing and thick paper, but no colour – only monochrome. It’s 197 pages long but due to its expansive layout, the text amounts to quite a brief book (no index). It is easy to understand. Note – the author follows the French tradition.) The author uses his own deck in illustrations, but this isn’t a distraction. He covers the history of the cards, Lenormand significators (in detail, in two different sections) and card nuances. The section on the Meaning of the Cards (36p) covers a large number of attributes for each card, including quite a few I hadn’t seen before. This is followed by a section called Additional keywords – actually just a brief description of each card (quite valuable in itself) but not focused on providing two to four keywords for each card. If the reader wants those they’ll have to search the internet. Luckily, there are quite a few such lists available. A section on card combinations then follows (36p) with the usual tables for each of the thirty-six cards. So he doesn’t spend much time on how to construct your own combination interpretations (a pity). The next section is on the author’s own ideas about how to give spiritual readings using archangels. The following two sections on physical attributes of people described in the cards and on playing card inserts are valuable and not often described well in other texts. The final section deals with card layouts: 3, 5 & 7-card spreads, the box of 9 cards and the grand tableau (8x4+4). I would have liked to see much more detail here. He does give an example reading for each but this section is decidedly light. That being said, gives a valuable, brief description for a grand tableau reading plus a full example. In conclusion: this is a fairly solid introduction to the Lenormand cards. In that respect it would be quite useful for a beginner. I would really have like to see more detail on keywords (that turn out to b really important) and on the card spreads. Comparing it to my current go-to Lenormand book: Lozzy Phillips’ Complete Guide to Lenormand, this is a lot shorter and would suite a beginner who doesn’t want to be weighed down with too much detail.

Very good content, not only for a rockie but also for advanced reader in this subject-matter.

Excellent book !

I was very eager to read this, as there is a shortage of good material on reading Lenormand, and this book will certainly advance your understanding, whether you are beginner or an experienced reader. This author has so much experience reading Lenormand, and has developed his own reading style and interpretations to a very advanced level. His personal story of how he was given a deck at the age of 11 is very enjoyable to read. It’s very handy he gives a complete list of combinations for each card, which many books don’t actually include, so this is a very useful reference. Some of these are really different to my own interpretations, so this expands the meaning of the cards, and there is also guidance on different ways of reading the GT in segments which helps it be a bit more manageable and less overwhelming. He remains true to the spirit of the French Lenormand tradition, and there are variations from the more Americanised style that is now popular. His confidence, positivity, his spiritual understanding and the fact that this has been a serious lifetime study for him, and the way he has earned his living for decades make this a unique offering for Lenormand enthusiasts. This is someone who has lived Lenormand and has not just recently picked it up. Lenormand can answer questions clearly and simply if you get the knack, and this book gets closer than anything else I have read to helping you understand the very particular and unique language of this deck. The book feels as if it has been self published, with mysterious big gaps of white space, and a lack of proof reading, which is a pity, and the inside endpaper has also come apart from the cover. These things don't affect the content of the book but it could be a more professional book in future, as the basis is here, and indeed the author has a great deal more to share.

Excelente libro, súper fácil de entender, te lleva de la mano además de que tiene una sección de combinación de parejas y sus interpretaciones, lo cual es muy útil. Además una amplia explicación del Gran Tablero 8x4 + 4

Este libro me parece de 10 yo que nunca había leído las cartas de Lenormand para el que no tiene ni idea es perfecto bien es cierto que luego hay que complementar buscando en internet más significados quizás a lo mejor una descripción más amplia de lo que es cada carta pero para lo básico es perfecto están muy bien distribuido te vienen palabras clave añadidas, los personajes te indican inclusive para relaciones homosexuales o lésbicas que me ha llamado muchísimo la atención, te viene un apartado también para los arcángeles, tipo de tiradas de cartas relación entre las cartas de Lenormand y las cartas de póker cartas de tiempo, cartas del Sí o No, una breve descripción del escritor. lo recomiendo al 100% quizás la única pega que tiene es como está sellado el libro que para 2 días que lo he usado se ve que ya está despegando se...

Wonderful way to learn the cards -- it seems to me the author put his very generous heart & soul in this! Love the way he explains everything, love the combinations, & most of all the Archangels. Funny, because I'd never really thought about this last very much. After the 3 & then 5 card readings kept hitting home, it got a soothing meditative thing going during some stessful times - even though some of the cards were/are about warnings - & went from there. I looked for cards with the angels right on them, which I couldn't find, but did find an app where you can add user meanings to each card. There are actually many apps where you can do that, I just picked my favorite. So am having fun with that, little bit at a time.
