PELONIS Pedestal Fan with Remote Control and Touch Panel, 3D Oscillation, Ultra Quiet, 10m Airflow, Height Adjustable (60cm/111cm), 4 Speeds, Auto Timer, Easy Clean Grille Circulator Fan

Decided to get a new fan for the upcoming Summer heat. I use it in the office and for when sleeping, so it needed to be quiet and provide enough air flow. This one is similar to my old fan which stopped working, hopefully this lasts longer. It feels well made, although you do have to assemble it, which the guide isn't too great as it ideally needs better close up images for some parts. However, there are only a few things to do, you unscrew a few plastic stoppers, insert the fan cage, add the fan and then add the cover. The cover does just rotate clip on (you can screw it in place if needed) so it is fairly easy to take off to clean the blades. Screwing it on to the base is straight forward, and the base itself has a nice bit of weight to it. The lower column can be removed if you want the fan at a lower height, but other than that you can't change the height of the fan. I am 6ft2" and the centre of the fan stands at waist height on me. Sat at my computer it is near head height, and in bed I can tilt the head down slightly to get it angled correctly. In use it has 4 fan speeds, on the lowest settings it is actually nice and quiet, just a gentle white noise, and it still produces a decent airflow at about 2 metres away. Increasing the fan speed obviously increases the noise slightly, but even on 4 (highest) it is really quite unobtrusive. The display lights up when changing settings, but does turn off after 30 seconds or so, so fine for at night. It's a large display so you can read it from several metres away. The panning action works fine, and has a decent amount of movement either direction. Power usage, I tested on my smart plug, at level 1 it drew about 25w, and level 4 it drew 30w. I would have liked it to be using lower power at level 1, but it's fine overall. In summary, a nice fan, a touch expensive at nearly £70, but I hope that is reflected in it's durability and longevity, and it does feel well made. I would have liked better statistics between the various models, as I mainly wanted it for quietness and low power, which isn't always displayed on the model product pages. Finally, a longer power cord would have been nice, because the cable comes from the fan head it is not easy to hide out of the way when plugged in, but this is a nitpick.

An excellent fan for the money. I was so impressed, I ordered a second one the following day! The fan requires self assembly, however was quick and simple, and requires only a screwdriver to insert the security screw in the guard. It is very quiet and effective in it's reach. It has a quality feel and a sturdy weighted base. Highly recommended.

Out of all the fans I’ve panic bought (3) tickets his is my favourite and as it was on offer it also was the cheapest 😂 . Really helps in this heat wave ! So glad I got it ! It’s quiet and decent power on it for a good breeze to cool us down . I like how it looks and the remote is great . We’ve had it on non stop so it’s been reliable so far x

I bought 2 of these fans, and I Really do rate them. I will commend the fast delivery as everything else had a 2-3 week wait. They are of a good build quality. The assembly is easy. The buttons/controls are simple, stylish, function well. My only criticism is the fan goes upto level 4, and this as the maximum doesnt seem powerful enough. It is adequate to cool you down if directly on you but I've certainly seen fans with more power before. Other than this they are great

The airflow of this fan is excellent. It’s kept in the bedroom and used nightly. The only downfall I’ve found is the lack of durability. It fell forward, hitting the bed, and lots of little plastic pieces snapped off it and the front fan guard fell off. It was easily reassembled, minus the broken pieces, which appeared to be from the internal catches holding the front of the fan on, it hasn’t altered the appearance of the fan, however, we do need to be careful not to move it now. Probably not the best option if you have excitable pets or children or a clumsy spouse
