Vast array of new species and behaviours never before filmed.
Brilliant, entertaining and worth the buy if you’re into the natural world. One of David’s best.

Spectacular and thought-provoking
In a world where we humans often tend to think we are the smartest and only living beings capable of emotions, this series is here to prove us wrong. Incredibly insightful, there is a lot to learn about life in the oceans! I truly hope this series will help humble us and change our attitude towards our Earth. My only complaint: in the second 'season' (Blue Planet II), there is too much dramatic music and it's often too loud. The sound design is sometimes difficult to distinguish from the noises made by the animals.

Excellent offering from BBC again
As always a really good series made by the BBC. really high production values and interesting stories of wild animals of the sea. It does get a bit preachy towards the latter episodes about plastic in the ocean (a very worth while cause to shine a light on) but I wanted more about animals and less about how bad we are as a species. I know I know, that's the point of this show. But I just didn't want to be preached at. That's just me though. As a series it's still worth 5 stars.

Breath-taking, and thought - provoking!!
We watched Blue Planet 1 many years ago, and loved watching it again!! Blue Planet 2 certainly didn't disappoint - the filming was fantastic - what a beautiful planet we live on!! The message really came across strongly that if we want to continue to enjoy this beautiful gift from our Creator, then we need to take much better care of it!!
