The down side was the power port malfunctioned and we lost power for several hours while at work, the upside again the Rep. Tracy was on top of it got us a replacement sent out and we are back in business. I like the incubator very much just had that one issue and they took care of us.

Temp controal unreliable
It was impossible to control and maintain the temperature. I lost 2 batches of hatching eggs.

Good incubator.
I like that the unit is automatic set the temp add water adjust the vent to achieve the appropriate humidity and just watch it do its thing. The down side was the power port malfunctioned and we lost power for several hours while at work, the upside again the Rep. Tracy was on top of it got us a replacement sent out and we are back in business. I like the incubator very much just had that one issue and they took care of us.

Hard to regulate the humidity
I'm not as happy with this incubator as I thought I would be. The temperature seems ok but it's very hard to regulate the humidity. It's about 20% off....It says it's 80% but in actuality, it's only around 60%. And if it goes over 85%, the alarm goes off. I do like the big viewing area, but with it being tinted, it's hard to see the digital thermometer to see if the humidity is correct. I lost my 2 very fertile and almost hatching chicks by putting them in this incubator 7 days before they were due to hatch, thinking that the humidity level was close. I will not make that mistake again - I should have double checked it with the digital thermometer. BUT, I have 2 other incubators that I have never checked the temperature/humidity in until today and have had great hatchings with those incubators - those the alarms go off when the humidity level goes down. Seems like this one is opposite. Still trying to get the humidity regulated but will probably be sending this one back and purchase another of one of the ones I already have. Egg turner does work but didn't try the built in candler.

Perfect for me.
I love this incubator. All six of my cayuga eggs hatched in this, and all 3 of my muscovy. The heat stays very consistantly, and the humidity is only tricky during hatch when each new duckling adds moisture to the area, and there are no additional vents to open. Easy to clean. Does what it is supposed to do. And 100 percent hatch so far out of the nine eggs I have put in it. And muscovy are notoriously difficult to hatch. Glad I took a chance on this one. Price was right, easy to store, clean and use. LOVE!

hit or miss.
The first one I received was great.. but the second one the trays were all bent and wont move properly, and the rh wont change off of 99 so until I put a hydrometer in it I had no idea what the moisture was. probably wont buy one of these again.

An incubator to keep you awake all night with alarms, escpecially during hatching
I will give one star for the nice candler. I will give one star for the customer service. Customer service explained how to adjust humidity alarm to not sound until it reaches 90%- that did help the fist 19 days. After that, during hatching the alarm went off at least twice an hour for 48 hours. The humidity sensor is just so far off- it is not really 100 percent humidity in there, the sensor is off by 25 to 30%. I will never let eggs hatch in this thing ever again. It come set far too hot. I had to adjust the temp down to 34.5 to get the incubator cool enough. It came set at 37.9 which was actually 108 farenheight. But dset at 34.5 the temp remained at 99.5 The turner rod kept falling off. I will give another star for including the battery adaptor. The incubator did incubate the eggs after weeks of trying to get temperature and humdity correect. If you buy this incubator check the temperature with a calibrated thermometer, never trust the read out on the incubator. ALso plan on removing eggs to hatcher at lock down or it will wake you up all night. THe alarm sounds like a truck backing up.

Faulty
Had this product since august 1st and it is now august 10th. The incubator seems to have a short in it. Plan on returning but not sure if I still have the original box. / part two/Only hatched 2 out of 12 eggs on first batch of eggs and there were plenty of formed chickens in the 4 of the other eggs. 2nd batch hatched 6 out of 12 but the incubator shorted out and lost the rest

Pretty but unreliable
The temp would not stay where I set it and the humidity is hard to control. The automatic turner just rolls them back and forth. None of my fertilized eggs made it to day 21.
