I cook mine in the instant pot and it pretty much tastes like sticky rice you would fin in asian restaurants. Sticky rice is more about texture than any big flavor difference. Sticky meaning it holds together.

Sticky Rice should be soak for 2-4 hours before steaming. This can be plain for meals such as Larb, Crying Tiger Beef, Grilled Chicken. Thais, Laotian, and Cambodians dishes R suitable for this rice. Another use is for desert, steam sticky rice adds coconut milk, palm sugar and a pinch of salt tastes like pudding that melts in your mouth.
