The beginning kinda tells a story, then the rest is more nonfictional. I don't normally like story telling/ fiction books however It's only about a chapter and It's so beautifully worded I fell in love with it. The story telling part doesn't seem fictional its more like sitting around a campfire with your grandmothers and them telling you a story in a way you can understand. The book goes into the "dark goddess", has beautiful images, goes into each phase of a women's cycle, shows you how to make a Moon dial, chatting your cycle to decode the patterns, and so much more. I recommend this book to every women, teenager, and young girl. It's important to know about our cycles and its connection with the moon and her cycles. This is a great book to gift any female. Absolutely love it and will enjoy reading it over and over! Miranda Gray did an amazing job with this one! I agree, every young woman coming of age should read this, I wish I would have had access to something like this back then. I find it very valuable now too, sacred and makes me look at my cycles and honor my energy in a deeper way now. So excited to share with all my friends. Amazing read
Book came with water damage but seller sent a replacement with no problem. This book is so beautiful and amazing! I love the way it's written. The beginning kinda tells a story, then the rest is more nonfictional. A must read for all women
A must read for all women.... this is the missing information that we're not taught in schools... our mothers, unless from the most recent generation of mothers, and even so, still very rare, probably weren't allowed to have this conversation.... knowing that the power of the Divine Feminine pulses her wisdom, power and strength through your body every month is the single most important conversation women can have right now. If there is to be a future it will wear a crown of feminine design - said Sri Aurobindo..... if we, as western women, are going to be that crown, then we have much work to do..... this book and others like it are the foundation from which that education may now come from. A friend recommended this book and I have found it very interesting for all women of all ages to read. I believe that men will also benefit as they might gain a better understanding of the cicles of a woman and how these can affect her moods.

Women's Must Read
This book is absolutely wonderful and filled with wonderful women's wisdom. I truly believe that every young girl that starts her period should be gifted this book. The same goes for all the women that have lost their connection to their most sacred part and identity - their moon cycle. Miranda Gray beautifully commences the book with story telling - weaving women's wisdom and powerful totems / symbols through the tale and therefore subconsciously opening you to receive the explanation of the symbols. The book has become one of my top 10 most favorite and inspirational books and I can highly recommend it.

Obsessed!!!!!!!!!!!
I’ve always been very intrigued by the spiritual gifts of the menstral cycle. I purchased this book and was bummed it was going to take forever to arrive since it was coming from the UK and I am in the US, but it arrived earlier than expected. I started reading it yesterday and could not put it down. I’d have been finished already it if weren’t for having to do other things. Plan on finishing it this weekend. My cousin wants to borrow it after me and one of my girlfriends. DEF recommend!!!! I love Miranda’s writing style so much.

Should be required reading for all women!
Already loving this book and its content. So inspired by my societal "role" as a woman and by my "reversed" menstrual cycle. Totally explains my desire to create new work and ideas and art as opposed to creating new life. Love that I bought this. I'll be sharing this with my roommate who directed The Vagina Monologues with me.

Fascinating!!

A 'must' read for women (and their partners!)
I have tried all kinds of natural therapy for menstrual pain without success and resorted back to Ibuprofen (very unhappily), as the pain was unsupportable Working with the knowledge and wisdom in Red Moon is changing a) my perception on the menstrual cycle into something positive and beneficial and b)has reduced my painkiller intake dramatically (after the first month of using this book.) If you are a woman, pain or not during menustration, you need this book! We have the most wonderful gift if we open our eyes and hearts and work with it consciously. I bought a copy for my friend who loves it too. Working within the boundaries of our cycle and understanding it on a deeper level, learning to respect ourselves in the process, is a blessing! Being a woman is a blessing. Share the knowledge in this book with other woman!

Not so useful
This book presents wonderful concepts in a wispy and ungrounded way. It's a shame, but the words just did not catch me at all. Needs a bit more realness and authenticity
