Super Poligrip Strips Size 40 Ct Poligrip Strong All Day Comfort Seal Denture Adhesive Strips

Featured in the Dino de Laurentiis epic film "When Dentures Fail..Slip Into Oblivion" these clever little strips solve several problems. When properly made your upper plate should need no adhesive, but your mouth WILL change over time due to gum recession. Don't have the cash for new plate, these will tide you over. Their adhesive is stronger than denture creams and can be put exactly where needed. I use one on each side. I had an unused implant removed and now my upper REALLY doesn't fit. These work. On the bottom I have a partial that was ripping my gums to pieces (they say the bottom is more problematic) My dentist recommended these and it has been a life (gum) saver for me. I wish they were easier to open, these old hands cannot navigate the finicky tab at the top and they are sealed tight against moisture. I use scissors. On Amazon they are always available (unlike Walmart) and are a good value.

As a reasonably new denture user, I don't like the tubed adhesives, so began seeking alternatives. Then I discovered the Poligrip strips and never looked back! So simple to use, the very best long term hold without allowing irritating food under the denture. Just wish the manufacturers of Poligrip would make them more widely available.

These things work great and aren't messy like other products. I broke a bridge and it's holding til I can see my dentist.

It took a few uses to get used to them. I was cutting them down to fit my partial but realized I didn't need to. I just let the end go over the curved front. This has also given a firmer hold. I have eaten some light foods using these with no real problem. I have yet to try heavier foods. I have found that it is fine if your fingers are damp when opening the packet and you can quickly run a light stream of water on them when applying. After a few times they become easy to use. The best part is that there is not a lot of ooze or cream to remove from your gums after use. The seal is quite decent so I will probably start using them more. They are well worth the regular price but seemed to go way up in price here. Hopefully they will return to the regular price so I can continue to order them on Amazon. ****UPDATE: I recently had to have a repair done on my denture piece. A mold of my mouth was taken and when I got them back they had readjusted and molded them and they have a more snug and natural fit as my gums were still healing when I first got them. Now with the better fit, these strips work even better.

There are no clear instructions

I use these for my partial... poly grip is the only glue that I use, because they have the plain flavor that's not minty and it's just the best hold out there...but I HATE how it gets all gunky and stays in your mouth afterwards. I decided to get these strips, hoping it would eliminate that because I've tried other strips and they eliminated the gunky glue, but they weren't as good of a hold. These strips do hold very well, but they turn into glue!!...so when you take them out, it's the exact same as if you would've put the glue in... so it definitely does not eliminate the gross glue in your mouth after which is extremely disappointing.

The protective layers are un removable and tears off. They have totally gelled with the adhesive strip and becomes messy. In my opinion they should have made it like band aid peel off. Bottom line=Waste of money

This is a great product. I purchase these for my Mom, and she would not choose any other product. They hold her bottom denture in place securely.
