Easy to setup and have pro features and functionality like daylight night mode and snapshot feature nice update from S3 cameras Camera quality is better then S3 and hopefully, battery life would be better as it has large solar strip and build quality is nice.

I bought four SoloCams S340 and three eufyCam S3 Pro cameras with a HomeBase3 and have not problems with any of them. I needed to fill a blank area in the yard and bought a renewed eufyCam S3 Pro. It ran great for abut three months and noticed that is started loosing a charge during summer. At 11%, I brought it the house and connected it to the HomBase3 station, but would not charge. I contact Dufy support and they suggested that I restart it and do a bunch of other things. None of the steps they suggest did not increase the charge status. They asked for product information and I found that I was only a couple weeks few beyond the 90-day warranty. That sucks! A bad battery should be covered longer. Edit: My wife and I were talking about this review and realized that the camera worked as long as it was connected to power. Since there happens to be power close to where this camera is installed, I searched Amazon for a power cord for this purpose. There is and ordered https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DM2BCC3X that will on my doorstep tonight and I can install it, have greater peace of mind, and put my ladder away. Eufy Support did not suggest this when I complained about the battery storage loss. I feel good that my wife and I came up with the solution, but would have felt better about Eufy if they had offered it.

This Eufy S3 is a really great security camera. A little larger than some cameras but the 4k video quality is phenomenal. The other main feature is that they’re solar and can be placed nearly anywhere outside your home. Currently we have two and I purchased black covers to make them a little less conspicuous. As for installation it was easy and straightforward. After setup and using the camera you will learn what notifications you want to activate or turn off and the AI features ar great. For Apple Homekit users, yes these are compatible but there are limitations. Apple allows only 4 Eufy cameras to be synchronized with Apple HomeKit and even though these are 4k cameras Apple will only allow 1080 resolution. Anyway hope this helps.
