Helps a lot...I can finally get some sleep... I bought 2 bottles..

I have been taking Melatonin for a few years now. At first, the one that I found more efficient was a Canadian brand which was way pricier and sometimes it wasn't available - it had like one side that was absorbed faster and the other side was time released. Then, Natrol released their time release version, and it is like a tablet containing a second one. The outer layer is absorbed first to help u fall asleep fast and the "inner" tablet is the one to be time released. I still wake up a couple times but manage to fall back asleep easily...

Pros and cons with these. I ordered these release tablets by mistake instead of the chewable’s. I couldn’t send them back and I didn’t want them to go to waste so I thought I’d try them. I’ve been taken the chewables in this brand for years off and on and my body got used to them so I’ve increased the dosage over time. I usually take 20-25mg on most nights. Since starting to take the release kind, I take 1 because they’re 10mg, in addition to 10-15mg chewables. These definitely work at allowing me to fall asleep and stay asleep during the night. Just taking the other kind, there’s times I’d wake up a few times but not after combining the two kinds. However I do feel groggy the next day. I never felt like this before with chewables. I am allowing myself to sleep 6-9 hours so nothing has changed with that. I may take less chewables or stop them all together to see if it makes a difference. I’ll play around with my dosages and maybe the release is really what I needed all along. If so, then I’m happy I ordered these by mistake. Also, I’ll come back to update my review if there’s any changes.

Extended release helps you fall back to sleep quicker and stay asleep longer.

These have really helped my problem of waking up in the early morning hours.

Good product but beware that it also has 588% daily does of B6 per pill. Good idea if you want that. But if you don't notice it there could be unwanted side effects or skewed blood test results. No indication of the B6 anywhere unless you view the supplement facts chart so don't forget to check that every time you order something new. These companies should more clearly label the extra additives in their packaging and marketing, which is the reason for the sub-optimal rating in this review.
