Best Car Battery You Can Buy
Got this for a 2005 Mustang GT. Fit perfectly. It has WAY higher CA and CCA ratings than the Duralast Gold it replaced. I've ALWAYS went with Optima because they last forever. Yes, they are expensive, but they are TOUGH, they don't die on you if you happen to let them drain dead overnight by leaving the radio and lights on for 20 hours or whatever like many batteries do. I'll update if any issues come to plague us, but if you don't see me come back, just know the battery is still doing perfect, even if it's 8 years from now. I may update every 3-4 years and say how it's doing, but I have faith 4 years will be trouble free with an Optima Red Top. I'm just saying, it's worth paying the extra hundred for one of these than saving that hundred and needing to buy another car battery 8 months to 2 years MAX later. These last forever AND they blow the competition away with the cold cranking amp ratings (the important rating). I've used these since 2005 or 2006. I even keep a spare that I've had for 6 years that I keep to bring with jumper cables if I ever need to jump someone off since it's so much easier. I think it may be 8 years old now, actually, lol. Long story short, this is one of the most important components of your vehicle. THIS decides whether you crank and leave or get stuck where you parked. This decides if you run it dead, will it still be good (yes) or will you kill a cell with some other cheaper brand (you will). Spend the money for one of these and then you can forget about worrying about your car battery for YEARS to come.

My car's battery was dead as a doornail
I tried jumping it, tried charging it - nothing. I've owned the car for a couple of years now and that battery was in it when I bought it (and my car is older), so I have no idea how long it was in my car prior to my purchase. So...while I wish batteries weren't so expensive, this one is right in the costs of recommended batteries for my vehicle. I also did check on the cost to have someone bring a new battery which also required I pay for installation meaning TWICE (and a little more) than the cost of this battery!!! I have very little money to spare, so...I bought this battery, took out the old battery, although I had to have help to get the old VERY heavy battery out (my male next door neighbor helped pull it out of the engine bay as I am a 70-year-old lady with no upper body strength. This battery was actually lighter weight so I could pick it up and set it on the battery plate and that is the only downside is that this battery came with a bottom that could be used on the old battery platform EXCEPT that the way my battery platform ties down is this long screwtop with a J-hook bottom that hooked into a small spot in the original battery platform and the ones that were sent with this battery didn't have any way to use it with that J-hook and screw-top piece that was NEEDED to tie down my battery. Other than that, I was able to tie down and hook up this battery very easily. I did my little prayer that the car start after hook up and my car purred to life and works so well my neighor who stopped to see how I was doing said, "You just replaced the battery?" His eyebrows up, he added, "And it's running?" My car runs so quiet even with the hood still up he couldn't hear it running! So, all I can say is while I wish batteries weren't so dang expensive, this one worked perfectly. I'm happy with it as my car is back to running - what's not to love about that?

Go to battery
This is and has always been my go to choice of car battery. I have full trust that when that key turns, my car is going to sing to life. They have never left me stranded. The one thing I do dislike is when they do go dead, the go DEAD. There is no recharging, there is no repairing, no fancy charger is going to bring it back That battery is kaput. It's a good thing it always get years of use out of it. Well worth the money.

"Upto 3x longer life" is the claim, but it is dead after just 1 year.
Bought this to replace my old battery, which I don't even remembered replacing. Since I live in Las Vegas now, and my mechanic told me that the heat and cold will shorten the battery life, I opted to buy the best one available on the market. Sadly, it first started giving me trouble after just 1 year and will not even start my car after exactly 13 months (from order date Dec 15, 2014 to January 28, 2016). Thought it was just a fluke at first when it will not start my car when I was trying to commute to work, but it was really cold that week. And since then it has struggle to start but started the engine, unless I purposely leave the car parked over 36 hours to see if it is the battery not having enough juice to start the engine. And sure enough, I only hear the clicking sound and that's it. It will start for awhile when given a jump start, but today I felt embarrassed for my car not starting after filling up at a busy gas station, since I was inconveniencing others patiently waiting in line to fill up and go about their day. Seriously expected a lot more for a battery that claims to have 3x the battery life compared to other competitors. But after 1 year and 1 month, the premium price paid for this battery seems not worth it. Especially reading all the reviews that claims the warranty is not honored at all. Anyway, 2 stars for now, but will update once I find out more from the manufacturer and Amazon. ----------UPDATE---------- This is the email reply sent my Optima Customer Care, which basically punt the responsibility of warranty claim (13 months within the 36 months warranty period to Amazon, the original retailer). Hi Tony, Warranties are handled by the original retail location with original receipt. Most retail locations register your sale with your phone number and can track that purchase. Amazon does handle the warranty on the batteries they sell; you simply need to contact them for warranty services. If you have any issues attempting to get warranty assistance please get the name of the person you spoke with and give us a call or email us. The Optima factory warranty policy requires a receipt from the original purchaser. Your purchase receipt: 1. Establishes the beginning date of service. 2. Identifies you as the original purchaser 3. Identifies that the battery is used in a consumer (not commercial) application. 4. Identifies the sale as a retail purchase. Without this there is no way to verify that the battery was purchased new, never been used. Thank you, Matt Optima Customer Service ----------END UPDATE (1/28/2016)---------- So basically, the manufacturer want s the buyer to follow up with Amazon, and come up with all the excuses (including allegations that Amazon.com actually would sell used car batteries, which is a completely laughable notion) so they will not have to honor their own warranty policy. FYI, Amazon will only assist you with this purchase if it is with the first 90 days, after that it is a struggle speaking to or live chatting with Amazon's support. Good battery if you don't end up with a lemon. Bad service from Optima Batteries, at the unacceptable level. Amazon customer service is a lot better, but you have to be firm and explain everything to them, in the hopes that an equitable resolution can be reached. Buyer beware.

Fits on my Nissan Frontier 2016 Pro 4 x . Shorter than the original height though. You can make a spacer underneath to match. Great product!

Meilleur Batterie AGM sur le marché Évidemment je l’ai fait charger à 100% avec un chargeur intelligent car la batterie ne l’était pas sûrement à cause qu’elle était stocké dans l’entrepôt

These batteries are garbage, not worth the hype or money, lasted two year on a vehicle I only drive in the summer

Fast shipping and great product. Item was delivered I'm no time, sufficiently packaged and worked flawlessly. It seems to have come pretty much pre-charged -- I left it charging for a day anyway to be safe. Installation was straightforward. I was very happy that it includes the accessory to raise the height of the battery a bit, which I needed for my '12 Toyota Sienna. Would definitely do business with again!
