Great flower press/book binder
This is a cute flower press/book binder that should stand the test of time. My daughter had a book that was falling apart ages ago and I never got one of these. Now seeing that it has a dual purpose, I'm sad I didn't get one sooner due to the fact that the rest of us love to press flowers. It has some little corners that you can put on to help save your table or wherever the item might scratch. The screws are long and should hold up to many layers of flowers or a large book. All materials seem sturdy. It's easy to set up. It's definitely a good value and sad that I didn't get one of these earlier.

During a relaxing weekend dedicated to crafting and organizing, this item turned out to be an indispensable part of the process, especially for handling delicate projects that demand precision and care. Its sturdy construction held up beautifully under continuous use, giving me the confidence to experiment without hesitation, whether pressing intricate floral specimens or working on binding photo albums to create personalized gifts. The designโs elegant finish brought an understated charm to my workspace, effortlessly blending with the surroundings while proving itself to be as functional as it is stylish. Managing its components felt intuitive, and even with extended use, it maintained its durability and practical features without showing signs of wear or compromising on quality. I was impressed by how seamlessly it adapted to my creative flow, allowing me to focus on the projects at hand while staying easy to maintain and simple to handle, making it a reliable and versatile addition to any crafting setup.

Nope
Not really sure what kind of books this would work with, way too small doesnโt even fit the small books I have that are mass market

Nice looking and gets the job done.
Versatile, straight-forward book press. I make my own journals, not too fancy, just out of cardstock and paper, and this helps press the pages down after sewing the binding. It's easy enough to make your own out of bolts and some scrap wood, but this elevates the experience. The panels aren't real wood, but they are nicely finished pressboard. I chose not to use the included corner guards, as I found the corners were clean and didn't really need bumpers. The holes are drilled perfectly, so the boards do sit squarely on top of each other. There are no instructions, but it is pretty straightforward to put together. Bolt, washer, board, washer, nut, board, washer, nut, end cap. One slight disadvantage is that the bolt heads do not recess into the board, so the entire unit sits on the bolt heads. This does not interfere with the operation though, as the whole point of the tool is to have the boards pressing the book together. And that, it does perfectly.

Great multi-use book press!
I know that this was designed as a book press, and it works great for that. I also make paper, and it works great as a paper press as well. The assembly was easy. I noticed that the product description shows putting the nut between the two boards, which would be fine for a book, but I wanted to press paper flat, so I took it apart and put the nut on the top under the cap nut, and it worked great. Putting the nut between the boards keeps the long bolts from dropping down when the boards are pressed together, but that's something I was fine with. It's such a simple design, but it worked great! The paper came out completely flat and in great shape. Using it to sew up or glue/tape the spine of a book also worked great, although I might end up making some kind of stand to hold it up on one side so it doesn't wobble. As a press itself, it worked flawlessly!

Great beginner's book press
I am thoroughly impressed with this book press. I was halfway through making my own with recycled wood cutting boards when I said "to heck with it" and tried this one. It comes with everything needed for proper tension. It even includes handy extras (like silicone edge guards and acorn nuts). I assembled it by looking at the photos (instructions are not included). This will work for my purposes (rebinding old books). Very impressed with the quality for the price! I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to get into rebinding while wanting to save money and space. It's a winner!

Sturdy and simple to use
I like that its pretty simple, just to panels that I can "squish" together with the help of screws on each corner. Is easy to operate, it doesn't even need instructions. It doesn't use electricity so I can have my books binding for a long time and not worry about it. The panels seem to be made of real wood and not particle board which is a big plus. It makes it very sturdy and I don't fear of braking it if I use too much force on the screws. Additionally the screws and nut seem to be of good quality and I didn't have any issues with the threads on them nor the nuts. They worked like they are supposed to.

Instructions not Included
It didnโt even come with instructions, smh! Sure itโs not hard but at least put instructions in there.
