Love it
Price was right ($10) and great study material. When I get closer to becoming re-certified, I'll have this foundation for the most recent PADI guidelines.

perfect for the open water course or as a reference book
I took the online course (fall 2013), then bought the book for future reference. I am sure that I will refer to the book in the future.

If you need a manual with a diving planner, don't buy this product
This product does not come with the DVD, which was expected, but it was also missing the diving planner. The diving planner is also needed for the exam portion and is typically included in the manual (helps you calculate how long you can be underwater). A classmate had an extra one that I could use to study and take the exam with, but do not assume you will be so lucky if you are planning to take the exam with just this manual. If you do not need the DVD or the planner, then this product is perfect. The book was in great condition & had knowledge tests at the end of each chapter to prepare you for the open water exam.
