new review, the battery does work.
The battery won't charge. I tried all troubleshooting except resetting the bios. The company is sending a new one. Amazon won't take it back because they aren't able to take items that are hazardous. Now I get to find how to safely discard it.Update, I received a replacement battery for the one above. It looked like it wouldn't work BUT after much work with AI, I finally found out that Lenovo actually identifies battery 1 as internal and #2 as external. This is opposite the way from most batteries are identified

Much easier to install than I expected!
Not being a computer geek I was very reluctant to do this battery replacement myself, but the very low cost and advertising made me realize perhaps I could do this.Not only was this switchout easy, but the kit even included some special tools as some of the tiny screws holding on the cover and battery pack are not what you would find locally.It's been a few months since the replacement and my laptop continues to work perfectly. In addition, when operating on battery power alone my run time has gone from a few minutes to most of workday after the switch.

Avoid this battery and this seller!!
Do not waste your hard earned money on this battery and don't buy anything from this seller!This battery lasted less than 2 months in my only occasionally used HP laptop. It now refuses to accept any charge. I tried to call the number they provide for customer service but it's nonfunctional. The link to their website is similarly useless. I only gave 1 star because 0 stars is not an option!If the seller reads this and replies in a responsible manner then I will review more favorably!If this is no additional review then that means they didn't bother to respond!Unless you like flushing money down the toilet bowl---Avoid!!

My laptop now runs longer on battery
My laptop battery was running low so I replaced it it is easy to install, I watched some YouTube videos now I can use my laptop without it plugged in all the time
