i just installed ex400u 2tb ssd as a startup on a mac mini running macos tahoe to get 2tb of ssd instead of 256 gb. so far it is noticeably faster. it was simple and fast to install. it doesn't seem any hotter than the mini. i'm keeping my fingers crossed and the old boot drive as is just in case. by the way the new ssd is tiny, tiny, tiny. 2 1/2 in. x 2 1/2 in. x 1/2 in.. TINY. my first drive was 100 megs and i needed to close the heat vent in the room to use it. i thought i'd never fill that up. 'course that was 40 yrs. ago.
