This fire blanket is much larger than expected. Packaged well. Very please. Feel safer now. Good value and easy to use. Would make a great gift for someone too.

I’ve used these twice on propane gas grill grease fires. They are outstanding and safe. Very effective. Highly recommend.

These are great to have and it comes with two so you can keep one and give one to family or friends. It gives me great comfort to know I can quickly and safely extinguish a fire without the use of a bulky extinguisher we used to use years ago. My thanks to the many first responders who invented and tested these!

I am giving this a five star review. Hope I never have to really find out if it works. It makes me feel safer and buy the hook to hang it on so you always know where it is and don’t have to spend precious time looking for it. I bought a couple of these to have in different parts of the house. Be sure and read the descriptions before you purchase. There are much cheaper ones for sale but read the fine print. The cheap ones aren’t for use on electrical fires . These are.

Highly recommend. Unlike most highly hyped products, this one actually will work … but I hope you never have to find out first hand. Simple and easy to use. Invest in the multi-pack: one for the kitchen, one for the patio/grill, one for the garage and one for the car. Be prepared!

I love this blanket. It’s a perfect safety addition. Parents should buy them for young adult kids. No need for the fire extinguisher for a small fire. And it’s perfect right. If a person caught on fire drop roll but in a blanket that will really extinguish the fire. I keep it outside even while cooking outdoors just in case. I have not had to use it thank goodness but it’s there.

Haven't used them yet, hope i won't need to. Seems well built. Its a bright color, easier for my elderly Mom see it.

These came in handy when our grill flames turned into a volcano, causing us to call the fire department. The fire dept made sure any remaining hot spots or flare ups were out and then were admiring the fire blankets we had used. We’ve now ordered two more to replace the two we thought we’d probably never need. HIGHLY recommend.

Bought for a youth group camp, although have not needed to be used so far they feel like good quality and prefer the soft casing and ability to hang up over the solid plastic option.

This product looks perfect. I bought the two pack of Prepared Hero fire blankets. One for my home and one for a gift. I can’t try it out as it is a safety item, but it looks like it will do the job. I bought the two pack of hooks as well as it looked sturdy enough to hold the package, which it is, and be strong enough to yank the tabs hard in an emergency to pull the blanket out of the packaging. I didn’t want to DIY a hook and have the release slowed down by a poorly sticking hook when needed. Great decision. Don’t compromise, get the hook(s) also. The blanket will be where you need it when you need it, and will be able to be pulled out in a split second.

Fire blankets are used in oil fires where the accelerant (oil) is not miscible with water. Most household cooking fires are oil fires, definitely need an excellent-quality, certified fire blanket along with an ABE extinguisher. 5/5.

Non l’ho provata (fortunatamente), però mi sembra un prodotto efficace e ben fatto. Ne ho regalata una anche ai miei genitori. L’ho messa appesa dietro a una scaffalatura, cosí che sia semplice prenderla in caso di necessità. È una di quelle cose che non ci si rende conto di quanto siano utili fino a quando non servono, ma in quel momento è troppo tardi! La ditta produttrice dopo l’acquisto offre un servizio di newsletter molto utile in cui offrono consigli preventivi per evitare incendi domestici e per usare correttamente la coperta.
