Direct fit and fixed my issue
Direct fit on my 2009 4.8 Silverado. I had gone longer than I should have for an oil change. After finally getting my Oil change, all of a sudden I kept getting an intermittent Oil Pressure warning. I was very concerned, but a mechanic friend said probably gunk in the pressure switch screen. Go this unit with a new screen and everything is back to normal with no Oil pressure errors. The part itself is easy to replace once the back plastic shroud holder is removed.
