Well it fitted, good price, filters oil and the car hasn't blown up yet :) Not sure what you can say about an oil filter? It is good you won't have an issue with it providing it is the correct filter.

MAHLE oil filter made in PRC
Mahle original oil filters are top quality items and I ordered two OC977/1 filters for my Golf. The first was a genuine MAHLE original, made in Austria as illustrated. The second, which was delivered some weeks later was different in construction and packaging and made in PRC (China). I do not know whether it was a genuine Mahle product or a copy but it was priced the same at £8.30 so I returned it Amazon for a full refund.

Nach dem Ölwechsel läuft der Motor ruhig und sauber. Die Dichtung sitzt gut und es gibt keine Undichtigkeiten. Genau das, was man von einem Markenprodukt erwartet. ゴルフ7に取り付けしました。 ただ持っているフィルターレンチではギザギザが合わず回しにくかったです。 専用のレンチ等で取り外した方が良いと思います。
