I bought this item to protect the bed for an adult who had an accident following a UTI. I'm really pleased with it. The pad is thin enough not to be uncomfortable, and does not make a crackly noise. It contains the same kind of gel as you find in Always, Tena and similar products, and absorbs well. There are sheet like ends which you use to tuck under the mattress and achieve a tight fit. There are two ways to use this protector - under the sheet for occasional accidents especially in conjunction with other methods such as Tena Pads or Drynites; or, on top of the under sheet for severe problems or restless patients. Very easy to change in these circumstances. Very pleased - suitable in my opinion for children, adults with a bit of a problem or just as a precaution on a regular mattress, especially if you're liable to spill tea in bed [teenage nephew please take note].

This is great, put on bed when grandchildren stay in case of leaky nappies, saves changing all the sheets, totally waterproof, very comfortable and soft, washes great and great value for money.

Bought these for my 4 year old. I had been using Huggies bed pads, which were costing me around £6 a time, as my little one has the occasional accident in bed. I was actually looking on Amazon for some more huggies, when these came up as a suggested item - Paid around £20 for a pack of 3 - the best part is that they are washable! Already had to wash one, and it came out absolutely great - they do a good job of absorbing and keeping the mattress dry. As they are reusable, they are also great for reducing waste. Very pleased with my purchase & would buy them again - although I don't think I'll need to!
