Buy it. Excellent, works consistently, connects easily
I use this HRM for Spinning and Burpee sessions. I already had a Wahoo bike cadence sensor so I am using their app for my rides. This HRM was easy to connect with Wahoo, it was visible immediately. You do have to be wearing the HRM before trying to add it as a device to Wahoo. I can't comment much on water resistance, I haven't tried swimming in it. I do spray it down with antibacterial liquid after each use and it gets pretty wet then and also with sweat and I have had no problems so far. The readout from the HRM is constant and appears accurate compared to a Huawei wrist band. It has transformed my spin sessions as I can now target heart rate zones and sit in the fat burning zone for long periods and spike up to high HR doing increasing resistance climbs and be accurate about it. My theoretical max HR at age 52 is 168bpm and I am confident this is reading accurately as when I am working to exhaustion point in any exercise the HRM records in the high 160's and low 170's. The band is plenty long enough for me and I'm a 44 inch chest and there is spare band to expand, it also fits my son who is very lean and he can tighten it plenty far enough. I have just measured it and fully adjusted it is 42 inches unstretched and a massive 72 inches fully stretched. For you skinny folk it can be shrunk down to 24 inches if you get the rubber none slip backing near the front to go through the buckle but that would be a loose fit at 24-26 inches. I haven't had any issues at all with slipping. The device itself clips onto the band via two press studs which means it can be disconnected easily for washing and for washing the band. It's an absolute bargain compared with the Wahoo band and Polar brand. I have this and the cadence sensor connected via Bluetooth ANT+ or whatever it's called and can still have wireless headphones also connected to my phone. Buy it!

100% recommend
Absolutely love this HR monitor! I've been using it for gym, walks, runs, hikes and have it connected to Strava. No issues, works perfectly. Durable (I wash it when I shower as well), comfortable (strap adjustable), have been using it consistently for a few months now and battery still running strong. 100% recommend.

Great heart rate monitor
This is a great product at a good price point. The monitor arrived well packaged and quickly. It came with new batteries and was ready to use. The instructions were good but took a little bit of time to understand. It takes a bit of force to attach the monitor to the chest strap, although once attached, it is very secure. Pairing the monitor to my phone was quite easy once I'd downloaded the free app that goes with it. Just remember you only need to pair it in the app and not in the Bluetooth settings. You need to make sure that the points that the 2 sensor points on the strap that make contact with your skin are moist so that the monitor can detect your heart rate. Once set up, it was easy to use with Strava. You open up the Strava app and go to the section where you are about to record an activity on your phone. Then press the little heart symbol at the bottom, and it should pick up the monitor. You are then ready to start your workout. I personally have only used it for running, although you can use it for cycling and a lot more. The monitor feels comfortable to wear and can easily be adjusted to suit different body sizes. Cleaning was easy as all it needs is a wipe down with a damp cloth. I've compared the stats with my Garmin watch, and the heart rate was identical, which was very reassuring to see. SG3F8F

Accurate, light, conncts easily - stated Elasticated strap size is BEFORE stretch, so fits bigger
Firstly, I was concerned the stated strap size of 25-36" (or 65-95cm in the manual) meant it would be too small because correctly positioned under the pecs I need 39". However, the strap is elastic and should stretch to fit and stay up, and it fitted me with plenty of adjustment left! Measuring mine UNSTRETCHED it is actually 25"-39". So it would fit a person of minimum 27-28" up to max 44" or more underneath the pecs/boobs (not where you normally measure chest). It is also accurate - checked with a manual pulse check on my wrist -to within1-2 BPM across the range (make sure to slightly wet the contact strips inside the strap), and its lightweight. It connects quickly, and paired via ANT+ with my Garmin Edge 530 and my Elite trainer app (on a PC with an ANT+ usb dongle) and via Bluetooth to Strava app on my phone without any problems at all. It also reconnects quickly after closing and reopening an app. The snap fasteners are secure and the strap stayed up well without being too tight, though some silicone gripper on the inside of the strap would be a nice extra, but wasnt needed even when I was sweaty it stayed in place. It comes with a Maxell battery already fitted, that says its good for 400 hrs in the manual leaflet (300hrs in listing) that comes with it in the (tiny) box. One thing to note, that is not very obvious in the manual, to switch it 'off' (standby) and save battery when not in use, you need to remove it from the strap - common with all chest HRM's - but could be clearer. I expect people suffering from short battery life are not doing/dont know this. The starp can be rinsed, but not put in a washing machine due to the sensors on it. Overall very pleased so far, and for ÂŁ23 was a good price.

Fits a Fatty and works with DDP
Got the DDPY app recently and Dallas is always banging on about heart rate, after reading reviews and comparing them against prices, i settled on this HRM, now being a big lad around 51" chest i contacted the seller who was honest and said it wouldnt fit. However i seen other reviews saying it did fit the bigger person. 2months in update, works like a charm, I use it for any and all workouts with the DDP app set to custom, had to take it in a few times and never had a problem with a loss of connection or anything. Top product. So i took a punt knowing amazons returns are great, and it fitted....not only did it fit i actually had to tighten it from its biggest setting as it wasnt tight enough to get my HR. Connecting it nearly cost some stars in the review until i realised it was me, when using with the DDP app do not pre connect it to your phone or pc, allow the app to do all the legwork, follow the website for the chrome extention on the PC, i have used it connected to the phone and the PC and it works fine. if you have any questions feel free to ping them my way, or contact the seller who was quick as a flash to answer my question. I fully recomend this HRM for the DDPY app, and good luck in your health kick or weight loss jounrey....BANG! 6 month update, It stopped working, changed batteries, tried with several devices and it just won't connect, nothing I can do to make it work, most upsetting as all of the above states it was the perfect HRM to DDPY I recommend it to everyone I. Class and online and now it's just stopped working.

Works for a while then developed a fault
Bought the product in July 2020 but by December 2021 it has developed a fault. I get intermittent signal but only when doing an exercise facing down, such as press ups. The signal comes back when standing up. See the image - every dip is me doing something facing down and every peak is after I stand up again. I've tried a fresh battery, different apps, different devices but no change. The company aren't interested and just advise buying another one. It's been rock solid for over a year though and is good value overall. Just a shame it hasn't lasted a bit longer. May take this opportunity to buy a better brand. EDIT (Feb 2022) - tried a replacement strap and it hasn't made any difference. Still get the same drop outs when facing down. Assume it must be the monitor unit itself. Will probably bite the bullet and but another one. Have to assume they are built to last about 18-20 months.

It just works - buy it
Flawless heart rate monitor, incredibly pleased. Works perfectly with my Garmin, connects every single time seamlessly, strap is fantastic, battery is good. Just remember to disconnect the monitor from the strap after use.

Flawless data | affordable | reliable
Im 131 lbs 9.5% bf 5’6 and the reason I bought this was bc Im too lean for my Apple Watch to track my data while I workout, any time i flex it loses my bpm and makes it useless, this chest band works perfectly and recorded flawless data, just make sure you position it correctly or it won’t, and make sure u keep it wet so it can keep ur bpm, this is how you flawlessly maintain a low body fat percentage and I highly recommend it. If you are lean and afraid of it not working dont be bc it works amazing and it’s affordable asf, just wish I knew about this before I spent hundreds on an Apple Watch just for it to be a paper weight smfh.
