the hose is and you just need to slip it on the pump works great. You will need to get a small bottle of jet dry and a smaller brush I got an artist 1/4 in works better still use the big one to start but the small one is good for the small stuff

can you put a riffled mat on the table? or would that even be necessary?

I do not think it would work. Its made to collect gold out off your fines. Works good but slow

what is the catch basin

The catch basin is the little plastic container with the lid on it you put that in the tub to catch your concentrates after you run them

Hello. Good question. For the typical fine gold, we recommend that you screen your concentrate down to 50 mesh. Then feed the table wet to wet, a spoon full at a time.
