With today's economy in the toilet, I bought this book with the hopes of adding to my regular income. This book did not only explain everything i needed to know about the business end of selling gold and precious stones, It also gave me the tools I needed to get started. I feel I can confidently walk into a jeweler, pawnbroker or refiner and know what I'm talking about. Excellent book at a great price!

Started reading this book as soon as it arrived. Easy to read. Excellent informaton for someone wanting to understand the pricing of gold and silver and gems.

This book surprised me with the information is gives. Absolutely no photos or illustrations which I would have liked, but the read is easy and full of tips and information. I am having to deal with an estate and this is going to help tremendously in how to sort out her jewelry.

I had no idea how scrap gold buying worked. So, I found this book to be extremely interesting. On one hand, it is helpful for anyone looking to get into the business of buying and flipping gold. On the other hand, it is also helpful for those who may sell their gold items, but aren't aware of the ways they could be taken advantage of. To the author I say job well done.

This book is written at a five year old level, and the type is huge. It should be called, "How to run a scrap precious metal business like a lemonade stand." I could detail some of the inane statements in the book, but suffice it to safe that if you really want to understand the scrap precious metal business, this is NOT your book. I bought it because I wanted to understand sources of metal for my jewelry projects. Forget that. I haven't even mentioned the typo errors. I would venture to guess that if you do not know everything already in this book, you probably shouldn't even attempt to buy and sell gold.

This book contains quite literally everything you need to know about gold and precious metal selling. Gold is worth so much more than you would imagine! This is a great book if you're looking to make extra money at estate sales or even when going through old tangled jewelry.

I do not like promotional books. I was looking into the PM scrap business. when I realized it was a promotional book I did not finish it, disappointed and upset that I bought it. Books like this should be marked as promotional or promotes another subscription to buy.
