The Easy Life Creations Weather Predicting Storm Glass is the best bargain in a storm glass on Amazon. I looked at quite a few offerings and this one was a fraction of the cost of every other storm glass I saw, so it scores a 5 for that alone. Better still, (and I ordered 2, 1 as a gift and 1 for myself), they arrived in 1 day with Amazon Prime. Both arrived in perfect condition, unbroken, and in a very nice gift box. The items are as described, each glass teardrop is 7 7/8" high and 3 3/4" in diameter. The wooden base is 4 7/16" square and 13/16" high, with a circular depression 1 7/8" in diameter and 3/8" deep in the center to cup the large end of the glass teardrop. It makes a nice display, but owners should place this item in a protected place because it could be easily knocked over by children, pets, or earthquakes. The Easy Life Creations Weather Predicting Storm Glass looks great, but I can't attest to how well it actually predicts weather, or even if the crystals change over time, since I have only had mine for a couple days. It is my suspicion that all the storm glasses offered are basically the same. The chemical formulas probably don't vary much, so the main differences from one product to another would be the cost, size, and perhaps the appearance of the base. With those considerations in mind, I would consider the Easy Life Creations Weather Predicting Storm Glass the best deal (at $3.99 delivered free with Amazon Prime). Oh, and after ordering, the seller promptly sent a follow up email which was hilarious. Note: I have not been paid, bribed, threatened, or otherwise "encouraged" to produce this review. This came packaged really nice. It even had a little decorative band on it which was a bonus I wasn’t expecting. I haven’t had it long enough to say how accurate it is yet but it came beautifully packaged with instructions and info about it. I have purchased one of these similar before but I will definitely be purchasing from this brand again because of how nice they put it all together and made the package really nice for gifting. Highly recommend it

I bought the storm glass as a gift to my brother in his new house and both he and I loved it it is very light and great decoration item in My opinion is a must have the flakes inside it disappear depends on the weather which makes it a great forecast tool.

Disappointed - gave to coworker for Christmas - don't see ANY flakes, no change whatsoever and is in environment that should make it happy. Pretty sure it's just a sealed teardrop full of plain water. =\

I was so happy with the packaging and the look. It was larger than i expected, and came in a nice box. Great gift.

Pretty awesome for price but wish descriptions would be better as in more clear to read and extra descriptions for readings, not to mention how to calibrate like others give a description to. Packaged safely.
