Polycell Multi Purpose Polyfilla - Powder 900GM

I’ve used several fillers over the years, but this powder version really stands out. It mixes smoothly and is very easy to apply, even for someone who isn’t a professional. The drying time is quick, which makes it perfect when you want to get a job finished without waiting around. Once dry, the finish is impressively smooth and it sands down effortlessly, leaving a professional-looking result with minimal effort. The filling capacity is excellent too — it handles both small cracks and deeper gaps with no problem, and the overall quality of the filler feels reliable and durable. If you’re after a product that’s simple to use, dries fast, and gives a great finish, this is an excellent choice.

Absolutely wonderful stuff. Have been renovating my friends office and there's been so many dings and holes in spaces that needed to be done up. And this powder is absolutely wonderful to mix up what you need at a time and to fill said holes. A dream to sand down and paint over. Fully recommend this for any DIY jobs that involve filling small or medium holes... 2 parts of the powder mixed with 1 part water and it mixes up to a nice creamy like state, great to get on to small nooks and crannys. I bought one box and it sorted out a hole in 2 doors, imperfections on the walls and edging a of a small office, as well as patching up a few holes across the living room and another room, but I do with I had bought 2 boxes at the time as I've noticed soany more areas in the house that could do with making good. I've not filled anything bigger than 4x4x0.5" but I presume if done in layers, it would be good for most things! The socket in the uploaded photo had to be filled quite a lot, the person who fitted the electrics was not handy with making the surrounding area good and looked absolutely shoddy, after a good go with the pollyfilla, it's looking absolutely wonderful, clean finish and now almost ready for the coats of paint. For the price it's such good value and buying an extra box for future 'just in cases' is a good idea. About to buy a couple boxes now to keep on the DIY journey!

Flexible filling, but tricky sanding as expected.

I used this to fill small cracks and gaps around skirting boards and door frames and it worked brilliantly and seals them up well. It’s very easy to apply, smooths out nicely and dries quite quickly without shrinking or cracking. The nozzle makes it easy to control the flow, so it goes exactly where you need it. When it’s dried up, it can be painted over with no trouble at all and the finish looks neat and professional. It does exactly what it’s meant to and saves a lot of time compared to traditional filler. A really handy product to have around the house. Would highly recommend!

A most worthwhile product, which doesn't require extensive additional equipment to make it function. I, a rank amateur, managed it, albeit the end result looked rather like a two year old icing a Christmas cake, but it's easy enough to pull it off and start again with more care.

Good product

Upon receiving the Polycell 20211 Multi-Purpose Polyfilla, I met an unexpected inconvenience. As I opened the package, I was met with a cloud of dust that took me by surprise. To my dismay, the Polyfilla box had suffered damage during its journey and had broken open. The aftermath was evident as the plastic bag it came in was filled with the loose powder. This was certainly not the unboxing experience I had anticipated, and it raised concerns about the packaging's durability and the care taken during shipping. However, looking past the initial hiccup, I found that the product itself was still in a usable state. For those unfamiliar with the mixing process, it can be a tad messy, and it requires a bit of patience. But with careful adherence to the provided instructions, the end product is commendable. In comparison to the ready-mixed versions available in tubes, this Polyfilla offers a more cost-effective alternative. Additionally, its longer shelf life, when stored in a dry environment, is a significant advantage for those who don't use it frequently. Performance-wise, the Polyfilla lived up to my expectations. It delivered a seamless finish, effectively filling gaps and cracks, and leaving behind a smooth, white surface. Its consistency, once mixed, was just right, making the application process relatively straightforward. While the Polycell 20211 Multi-Purpose Polyfilla is a product of high quality that delivers on its promises, there's room for improvement in its packaging. The box needs to be more robust to withstand potential mishandling during transit. Alternatively, Amazon should consider shipping it with additional protective measures, acknowledging its fragility.

Fills gaps as good as normal polyfilla but is like using silicone.Make sure you apply and smooth it while it’s wet as it’s unbelievably tuff and hard to sand when it dries.

Excellent product unfortunately no longer available in powder form in Canada. Easier to use small quanities as the powder version keeps much longer than the premixed. Ships from the UK but arrived within 2 weeks.

I have peeling paint on some ceilings and walls. It isn’t water damage, just age I guess. I made a paste of this product, used a water color brush to carefully dampen the area under the peeling paint and then smoothed more of the paste above and around the area until the paint was kinda glued back in place. My walks are gently textured making it unnecessary to do much sanding to even the surface after it has dried. I learned of this product watching a YouTube video about repairing peeling paint. Fantastic

i had to install two pieces of drywall I did not tape the seems I used polyfilla let dry textured turned out perfect.

Carful to not mix too think, will crack

I am an art conservator teaching at a US university. This product is crucial for the classes I teach. I was not able to find this product for several years and now I finally found it through Amazon! I am thrilled!!
