Yes, the Pro Stand now comes with 3 Shafts instead of 2.

Question 2

Can it hold iphone xs max? thanks.

Accepted Answer

Yes, the Arkon Pro Stand includes a UNIVERSAL side-gripping phone holder that opens up to 4" wide. It fits ALL phones, and ALL cases. It will work with ALL models of iPhone and Android phones.

Question 3

Can it hold any size samsung tablet? Size 7, 8, 9, 10?

Accepted Answer

Arkon Mounts offers many other solutions that are tablet mounts. This one, the Arkon Pro Stand, comes with the UNIVERSAL Phone Holder and a camera adapter allowing small and medium-size cameras to be used with the stand. Though we don't currently offer a stand that allows for a tablet to be in the OVERHEAD VIEW position, we do have hundreds of tablet mounts for live streaming or creating videos. Our best seller in this same family of products is the Remarkable Creators Phone & Tablet Stand with Ring Light Bundle. See model RCBTABLED here on Amazon.

For a Universal Tablet Stand only, see model TABSTAND29, also here on Amazon.

Question 4

I’m having issues with this stand holding up my iPhone 7 Plus. I have no case on the phone and have tightened all knobs as tight as possible?

Accepted Answer

Many of the reviews on this product listing are very old, and not representative of the newer version of the product that has been shipping in the past 18 months. This review is a good example. Your purchase was back in 2017. Many improvements have been introduced into the stand since your purchase. Based on your feedback, it's sagging at the point where the top arm assembly connects to the aluminum shaft/pole of the stand. The chrome ball adapter that connects these two components probably has a smooth finish on it. Newer versions have lines or ridges that allow the collar to grip tighter.

If you purchased your stand previous to when a modification or past improvement was made, and you're experiencing a problem with it, we always provide a n/c replacement for the part that may be causing the problem. Arkon Mounts has been in business for 31 years and we have a strong 2-year warranty. Beyond that, we strive to ensure that all of our customers are satisfied. Please email service@arkon.com. Request a replacement for part number SP20MM25. That should resolve the issue and hopefully give you the 5-star experience you want to receive with this terrific product.
