Perfect fit after I broke my real Owala lid. Has lasted me over a year now no issues. Does not have as much of an audible click when closing but it is sealed good no leaking. Color options are great for the price point.

Fits well and serves the purpose of replacing the original ones that broke. Doesn’t spin as smoothly or snap as well, but my kids loved the new colors and that they can still use their bottles.

We ordered one of these as my daughter’s original one broke by simply closing the lid. The replacement arrived broken. The replacement for the replacement lasted a few weeks before it broke when the bottle simply toppled over - it didn’t even fall from any height other than the height of the bottle tipping over. These look great, the functionality is great, but if they constantly break, they’re just no good.

I was SO happy this fit my Owala water bottle. The snap broke on the original lid and I thought all was lost until I looked on Amazon for a whole new bottle. You will have to use your original straw as this replacement does not come with one.

This was a perfect replacement for an owala lid that had broken. It looks exactly like the original and I can't even tell that it's not the original. The colors match perfectly. I do wish that this would have come with a straw as it would have been nice to have an extra one, but I didn't need a new straw, my existing straw fit onto this replacement lid perfectly. If you're looking for an owala lid and don't want to spend too much, this one is a superb option!

Got this March 28, am writing this review Aug 8 when it broke. I really wanted a pink top for my water bottle, I did not like the one Owala came with. Right off the bat you can tell that the quality is not as good as the original, but that was something I was willing to sacrifice as I really liked the color. I have never dropped this water bottle, and today when I was at yoga, I could not open the top so I figured it was stuck. Somehow, it ended up falling apart and breaking on me. I guess for $10 it’s not the end of the world, but I will not be repurchasing this again.

I originally wrote a 5 star review for this. I love the feel and texture of the lid because it almost perfectly matches the texture and feel of the water bottle. Something was throwing me off color wise and I thought it was because the white was a more cool white than the white Owala bottle but turns out the Owala white lid is mostly gray with a white band at the bottom. After a week with the new lid, I am dropping two stars for 3 reasons... the loop latch does not lock in place like the Owala, it just freely slides up and down without snapping into place. Closing the freesip lid is becoming a pain. It worked great the first day or two and now it just does not want to snap into place without using some force. Lastly the button just doesn't function right... you sometimes have to push it 2 or 3 times to get it pop up the lid. These 3 things seem to have gotten worse over the last week. This lid is $2 more but is now showing to be cheaper made than the Owala one which goes for $6.99 vs. this one for $8.99 It works, just not very well. I will probably end up ordering another Owala made one and just keep this one as a spare incase I crack the area where the straw is inserted into again. I would be OK with any one of the 3 aforementioned problems, but having all 3 problems is why I am completely rewriting my review and dropping from 5 stars to 3.

The locking mechanism popped off the spring after the first use! I do not recommend this product and will be returning it.
