Havaianas are great specially when going to beach places, as they don't have any cloth material that requires special care (washing them properly to avoid smell, leaving them to dry, etc.). You just need to rinse them with water, and the flip flops are ready to go again.I can also say that they are very durable. I had several ones since I was a kid, and I can't understand when people leave their reviews here and complain that this is not a durable item. All the Havaianas I had, I used them for more than 5 years, to the point that either they are just too thin and don't have more cushion when you are walking (for normal wear) or I simply because want to give them away as I'm bored with the same model...I normally use them as my "hike shoes" when I'm places like Thailand, Indonesia, Mexico... Therefore I can say I walk for over 5 hours per day on them, and have no issues. It might give you some blisters in the first 2 days, if you just use close shoes all the time, but after a week, you will not want to take them from your feet any longer.I'm wondering if people complaining about the quality/durability are using Havaianas to go down on an slide, or a continuous down hill. This might split the holder in the middle. They are definitely not safe for that... With some experience you would knot that for sure.The only sad part of this is the last one purchased (less than a week ago) was to my husband and this have got stolen in our 2nd day of our holidays. Therefore as a bit of advise, don't leave it unnatended in the beach or when visiting a temple. Just bring a bag with you and carry them all the time.This is the second experience in the family of having this happening. If you leave them unnatended, you will end up most likely with a cheap Chinese flip flops that was left on an "exchange" for your brand new ones, until your holidays end...

I ordered these as a last minute purchase "just in case" holiday flip flop and I'm so glad that I did because I ended up wearing them non-stop for two weeks that I was in Thailand. They are not only hard wearing but are so comfortable on my feet. My husband swapped his cheap ones with me for a wee while and the difference was quite staggering. The cheap flip flops felt a lot more squidgy and not nearly as good quality. I used these for wandering along the streets of Bangkok and meandering through the market stalls at the numerous beaches on the coasts of the country and they were wonderful. I was quite pleasantly surprised at how well these flip flops stood up to the everyday wear that they received. I chose a fit a size up from my normal EU size (UK8 is usually a EU42 these are EU43/44) and they are probably a little long on me at the heel but I hate when I see people with their heels hanging off of their flip flops so they are perfect. All in all, a wonderful flip flop and well worth the money. You get what you pay for!( A lovely blue/purple colour that went with everything too and easy to recognise as yours if they are piled up with hundreds of other shoes outside a temple! )

Perfect Flip Flops. Ordered these whilst on holiday in Wales as they were too expensive there! Lovely and comfortable and perfect for the apartment and beach whilst away. Excellent quality and look great!

It seems debatable whether this product is real or fake. When compared to a definitely real pair of havaianas there were differences in authenticity. For £8 though you can’t really complain as they still serve their purpose as a flip flop but I wouldn’t pay beyond that price. They didn’t arrive perfectly either as you can see there’s some strange indents on the heels. Kept because they will be rammed in a suitcase for a long holiday and returning is hassle incase I got another pair equally damaged.

Realmente tuve un gran lio con el tema de la talla porque mirando los comentarios de otras personas me hicieron dudar, aunque la mayoria de ellos indicaban lo correcto, y esto es que son tallaje pequeño. Me explico: Yo habitualmente utilizo calzado del numero 45 aunque tambien el 46 en deportivas. Pues bien, he pedido la talla EU 47-48 (45-46 BR). Pensé que me quedarian enormes y las tendria que cambiar porque en teoria habria que guiarse por el tallaje europeo... PUES NO, hay que guiarse por el tallaje brasileño, eso es la talla EU siguiente mas grande de la que tienes habitualmente en España. Si tienes por ejemplo habitualmente en España la 41-42 tendrias que pedir la talla EU 43-44 (41-42 BR). Aclarado ese tema voy a hablar sobre las chanclas en si. El modelo que he comprado son las havaianas top de color negro. Son simples, sin ningun dibujo de color ni nada. las tiras son de goma con relieve, un clasico, y la suela donde se apoya el pie es un poco rugosa que hace que el pie no resbale tan facilmente en mojado y agarre mejor en cada paso. Hace unos dias compre otras chanclas de la marca Triboard en Decatlon y al compararlas no tienen nada que ver en cuanto a calidad de los materiales. Estas havaianas aunque parecen mas toscas que las otras son mucho mas solidas y tienen mas cuerpo, lo que hace que sean probablemente mucho mas duraderas y no se deformen como las otras. Vienen en una caja simple, y en mi caso la caja estaba un poco aplastada pero no afectaba al las chanclas. Si hubieran sido para un regalo pues si me hubiera molestado. Son autenticas hechas en Brasil como asi lo indican tanto la caja como la etiqueta con el holograma. Yo he pagado por Amazon 13 euros, y las mismas en Decatlon costaban casi 22 Euros, por lo que merece la pena comprarlas por aqui. Si deseas las clasicas chanclas de siempre pero de buena calidad te recomiendo estas.
