Instant repelling!
Brilliant! It gave hours of protection from Scottish isle midges and it's almost odourless compared to other brands. Couple it with a headnet in very infested areas. Highly recommended.

“Smidge Repellent: Effective Protection with a Pleasant Scent and Non-Greasy Feel”I’m
I recently purchased the Smidge Repellent 75ml 8 Hour Midge & Biting Insect Repellent from Amazon, and it’s been a lifesaver for my wife! She’s always getting gnat bites, especially during outdoor activities, but this product has made a huge difference. Since using Smidge, she’s noticed a significant reduction in bites, allowing her to enjoy our time outside without constant irritation. The spray is incredibly easy to apply, with a convenient pump that spreads evenly. It has a pleasant, mild scent that’s far from the harsh chemical smell of other repellents. Best of all, it leaves a non-greasy feel, absorbing quickly and keeping her skin soft without any sticky residue. We’re thrilled with how effective and user-friendly this repellent is—highly recommend for anyone battling biting insects

Highly effective against mosquitos
Zero mosquito bites so far after using this for a week in Thailand. I have had a lot of bites on previous trips so very happy with how effective it is; without smelling bad like DEET products.

Nothing can beat it!!
Nothing better at keeping the midges away, I'm one of those who midges seem to like, so I don't go anywhere without it.

Works even on Scottish midges
I live in North Yorkshire and thought the midges here were bad. Alas, an unscheduled trip to Ayrshire last summer showed me that the midges south of the border are disorganised and ineffectual compared to the vicious onslaught of the Scottish ones we encountered at Loch Doon. Locals recommended we buy Smidge, the only thing they rated to keep the bitey w** f***ers at bay, but it sells out in the shops quite quickly in summer. Every inch of bare flesh we had was testament to the midges’ voracious attack. So this summer, when we returned to Loch Doon, I made sure we were prepared. We covered every last bit of skin with either clothing or Smidge and, despite the clouds of midges that descended upon our little group, we successfully managed to eat a picnic without injury or the subsequent red bumps and itches of the previous year. With that said, even with Smidge on your skin, the little sods will go for your scalp if you leave it either uncovered or un-Smidged. While copious amounts of product in your hair may be effective, it’s not a great look, so make sure to have a hat to hand to supplement your protection. A can of this stuff is now always in the boot of the car, ready for any outings into the countryside. It may not be the cheapest insect repellent out there, but it works brilliantly well on the midges we were dodging. Well worth spending a bit more in my view to avoid days of itching and irritation.
