Amazon Basics Cat Litter Mat, Unscented, 61 x 88.9 cm, Gray

Bought this Amazon Basics cat litter mat to replace a much more expensive one that had seen better days, and I'm genuinely impressed with how well this budget option performs. The size (61 x 88.9 cm) is generous enough to cover the area around my cat's litter tray with room to spare. The gray color blends nicely with most floor types and doesn't show dirt as easily as lighter colors might. The material has a slightly rubbery, textured feel that's effective at trapping litter particles as my cat exits the tray. What I appreciate most is how well it catches the tracked litter - you can easily tip the collected bits back into the tray or shake them out. The mat stays put when cats walk across it, which was an issue with my previous thinner mat. It's also soft enough on their paws that my cat doesn't avoid stepping on it. Cleaning is straightforward - a quick shake outside or a vacuum does the trick for regular maintenance. While it's not machine washable, it's easy enough to wipe down when needed. For the price point, this mat punches well above its weight. It may not have all the premium features of expensive alternatives, but it serves its core purpose brilliantly. Sometimes the simple, affordable option really is the best choice - this mat proves that you don't need to spend a fortune to keep your litter area tidy. Excellent value for money and does exactly what you need it to do.

These mats are perfect for my litter trays! I have 4 trays, and one mat comfortably covers the entrance to 2 trays because of it's size. So I only had to buy 2. They are catching any tracked litter really well, which can easily be tipped back into the tray. They're easy to clean and are very appropriate to live in shed, where the trays are, as they can cope with all climates. Really good price too. I'm very happy!

I have a Norwegian forest cat, with huge, furry paws, and he tracks litter around like you would not believe. But this catches a lot of it, and can carry quite a lot in the grooves, preventing the litter from getting further kicked around. Although it can be difficult to remove all the litter from the grooves. It is also easy to clean cat mess off of, and I have had no problem clearing cat poop in the past. It is also easily moved on hardfloor unless weighed down by the litter tray

Very useful to have as cats can make a mess around the litter box. Can even prevent cat urine from going over your floor in case your cat spills. It also doesn't look bad. Only issue I had was leaving it outside after washing and it got discoloured, but that was my fault.

Nice size and colour and easy to use and delivered quickly and would recommend it . Good quality.

This mat is decent and helps reduce the amount of litter tracked outside the box, but it's a bit too large—10cm shorter in both length and width would have been better. While it does catch litter effectively, cleaning it out of the mat isn’t as easy as expected, which undermines its convenience. It works, but it's not perfect.

This mat has been used on the floor under the cat litter tray and I'm very satisfied with it. I was surprised to see it isn't washable in a washing machine but it does it's job very well. More than anything else I think it's the material it's made of which is the big advantage. It's kind of floppy and almost rubbery to feel, but the mat edges stay to the floor, so no tripping up and it mostly catches the overspill from our cats vigorous digging. A dustpan and brush takes care of clearing up the overspill but any tiny bits of dust will readily come out if you shake and beat the mat. It's generous size was a pleasant surprise as our cat has a large litter tray. We have the mat in grey and it fades into the floor cover colouring nicely. All in all it was an excellent purchase and I'm very happy with it.

Does the job of holding the litter tray in place it .does not absorb liquid spills if the cat misaims , is easy to clean and dries outside well. I have also noticed liquid that has seeped under the mat too

El producto estaba en buen estado,va genial para recoger las piedrecitas de mis gatos, cada vez que entran o salen de hacer sus necesidades,ya que aunque son muy limpios,porque ellos escarban para tapar lo que han hecho, sea pipi ó popo, siempre se queda alguna entre sus deditos y al salir las sueltan en la alfombra.

Es buen tapete pero no me sirvió mucho pues a mi gata no le gustó y lo quitaba pero aún así sirve

This is a good-sized mat that easily catches most of the grains my cat flings outside the litter boxes' immediate perimeter. I like the quality, relative softness, and feel of the PVC mesh material used. This looks like a regular rug whose color helps to mask the scattered gray litter grains. The low cost makes this a worthwhile value. I highly recommend.

2nd time buying product. Good size at reasonable price.
