Does the EmWave Pro work on a lap top?

I am sorry, can't answer that, I don't have a lap top. Did have some issues with it on my iMac.

What funtionality does emWave Pro have over the emWave2 Handheld which also connect to your computer?

Pro offers "Power Spectrum" and the ability to use and store multiple users. If you go on the Heartmath website, there is a pull down menu for product comparisons that will explain more.

What's the difference between emwave pro and emwave desktop?

I am told emWave Pro is the newest version. I was also told that owners of the older (maybe just the lat previous if there was more than one??) can upgrade free to Pro over the web.

I have Windows Vista and it came up with the C++ issue and if you pressed cancel to load it anyway it work OK. I thinks the Healing Hand Visualizer and the Child's Heart Visualizer may help you with distance Reiki Healing.

This displays horribly on Ultra HD screens like my Lenovo 2 Pro ...

This displays horribly on Ultra HD screens like my Lenovo 2 Pro which has 3200x1800 res. To be legible you have to alter text size to minimum then reset to 1920x1080 so all the other programs look about 12 years old. Apparently they have no plans to alter the software to match the new screen standards. The system itself is OK but the screen thing has such a bad impact on using the computer I can't give it more than a 3.
