These batteries honestly brought my launch PS5 controllers back to life. Battery life is noticeably longer than stock and I can game for hours without constantly worrying about charging. Perfect upgrade if your DualSense battery has started draining too fast. Installation was easier than expected with a YouTube tutorial, and the included tools were helpful. The batteries fit properly and charged normally right away. Build quality feels solid and the controllers run perfectly after installation. The biggest difference is the playtime. way longer gaming sessions before needing to plug back in. For the price, replacing the battery is way cheaper than buying a whole new controller. Definitely worth it if your PS5 controller battery is starting to wear out.

Due to some life events, my PS5 sat unused for about 18 months and I was sad to see that when I tried to use it again, the controller's battery was so dead that I couldn't use it even when plugged in. I decided to try replacing it rather than buying a new controller. I bought this 2-pack and followed instructions on iFixit. It had the tools included to complete the job, which wasn't the easiest but not terribly hard. It's not the exact shape of the original but it's close enough that it fits without much fuss. After installation, I've noticed it seems to charge more slowly than before and seems to be a little pickier about which chargers will work. But the battery life is quite good once charged. All in all, this meets my expectations for a replacement battery.

First impressions are great. I got these battery packs to replace the original battery packs from my launch dualsense controllers. They were VERY EASY to install! With a full charge I have put in probably 8 hours or so and the battery life is still showing around 70% left. I am truly amazed by that because my controllers would last 90 minutes IF I was lucky at this stage in their lifecycle. After taking a look at the stock batteries, they are 1560mAh whereas these packs are 4000mAh...a HUGE difference. These batteries are way better than even the stock batteries when they were new. I highly recommend these battery packs to anyone looking to replace their old dualsense batteries.
