Better than expected.
Ok, it’s heavy. This downside is why the upside is so fantastic. Proper Magnets! Any light weight case will have weak magnets. Built like a safe. The screen cover doesn’t flap around or come undone like some have reported. It snaps closed with a thump and is secure. If you want light weight case, you’ll have to put up with magnets that will not always hold and protect the iPad.

Premium, Versatile iPad Case with Great Protection
This ESR case feels genuinely premium and sturdy. It’s a practical, stylish choice for everyday use that will protects the iPad well, offers versatile viewing angles, and includes a smooth rotating stand with a secure magnetic cover. If I’m being picky, it does add a bit of bulk, so it’s not the slimmest option on the market, but given the extra protection and flexibility it provides, I think it’s a very reasonable trade-off.

A WELL DESIGNED AND HIGHLY RECOMMENDED PRODUCT
I just got a new iPad 13 Air and was going to order another Zugu magnetic case. I’ve had a Zugu case for over 6 years for my old iPad and loved it. However, they’ve now completely priced themselves out of the market at over $120. I ordered a Seymac magnetic case but the stand was too narrow and kept collapsing. I sent it back. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED - THIS 13” iPad Air case for the 2026 model is probably as close to being perfect as they come. At just over half the price of the Zugu case it’s as good if not better than the Zugu AND it has the added benefit of being able to detach the iPad from the magnetic stand without needing to remove it from its main frame. It also has 2 supports, one for full stand up and a smaller one which enables a much shallower profile perfect for typing. It has a pencil holder in the back as well.

Honestly a great case, looks good and the design is great. Love that the magnet is strong enough to hold the weight of the iPad to a metal surface without worry.
