Great for woodpeckers, they love it.

I like to point out that the suet that I am receiving is damaged inside the carton. This is due in my opinion the carton is to big for the number of Suet cakes that I purchase, thus with all the handling from production line to client's home (mine) Oregon. it's not handled in a gentle manner because of what it is and the weight I like the Suet that I get because my Wood Peckers enjoy it immensely (so do the squirrels)

I have been using this brand of suet for years. My birds like it and I like the packaging and the cake is solid and not soft. The cellophane wrap is easier to remove and wipe clean for recycling than those plastic trays with all their grooves. The price was lower than what I pay for same brand locally, so I will likely reorder this type again.

My bird friends LOVE these. They kind of smell like cherry soda.

We've been using this product for two years. Our most recent visitor is a gorgeous pileated woodpecker, also flickers, nuthatches, chickadees, and downy woodpeckers seem to like it.

Not only the birds but squirrels will eat this.

I am going to 'copy and paste' another review I wish I had read before purchasing this suet. The other reviewer said: "The birds here in southern CT hate this suet. I had been replacing the previous brand I used every other day, but this brand has lasted weeks because none of the birds will eat it. I bought this because it was cheaper, but I will go back to another brand and may throw this away." My only change to that review .... substitute South Carolina for southern CT.

I am not going to try this product to tell you how it taste so I will go by what the birds show me. It is pretty good. They eat it and I have to replace it for them. I will guess that they love it.

I had a yard full of birds with my previous suet mix. Once I put this up they disappeared. I tried it for a year, almost no interest from the birds in the Pacific NW
