For the price point of $300 on sale this is great. If you're looking for a loud speaker for a garage or just listening to loud music in a room this is it. Positives, it connects to Bluetooth easily, has bass/tone/volume adjustments, and sounds good loud with this one speaker. Negatives, I'd like to see changed is to have some controls in the front. You have to position this speaker to access the controls in the back, Bluetooth, volume, tone knobs are all on the back and sometime when the Bluetooth has to connect you need access to those controls and if the units against a wall its a lot of speaker to push around. The other issue may be its size and weight for DJ/solo performing artists. One side note, I did buy two and they connect to each other via speaker to speaker and Bluetooth pretty easily. Yes two are louder but honestly not required. One speaker is more than enough for the neighborhood to hear you.

I was in the market for a new sound system for my house. After hours of searching, reading product reviews and contacting companies, I stumbled across the Gemini 5500. I read the reviews, watched videos on the speakers and even called the company to make sure this is what I wanted. I wasn’t sure if I should buy just one or get a pair of them. It showed there were only 9 in stock at the time so I decided to buy a pair of them. They were on sale anyway. Well, I got them today. I was too excited to wait for the brown truck to drop them off so I ran down to the local UPS hub and picked them up. I opened the box, pulled the styrofoam off the top and pulled the first speaker out. I plugged in the power cable, turned it on and hit the Bluetooth button. It connected instantly. All I had to do was turn up the gain on the back of the speaker and I was listening to music. It was that simple. After I got that one going, I pulled the second one out of the box and set that one up too. I hit the link button and easily paired the two together. What’s great is when you turn the volume down on one, they both turn down simultaneously. These things are extremely powerful. I have them in my living room and I can’t even turn it up past 20. I’m not sure what max volume is but I know it’s gotta be way more. Honestly, for the price I paid, I’m very satisfied. They’re bigger than I anticipated which is plenty fine by me. They’re build quality is amazing. They look great and sound great and I’m looking forward to many hours of listening to them.
