This is an impressive little home counter ice maker. The operation thus far has been flawless, and the operation of the unit is just as described in the advertising. It produces much more ice that the literature suggests, and it is almost surprisingly easy to use. The initial cleaning was easy and thorough and produced good ice after the initial batch. We use and will continue to use distilled water because we like clear ice cubes and because we have lots of minerals in our tap water, although the taste is still very good for city water. The ice maker is relatively light, and the handle makes it easy to move from place to place. We got it because we thought we would like the bullet shaped ice cubes and because our old dog really likes ice and these cubes are relatively easy for him to crush with fearing for his teeth. We make a gallon size zip lock of ice whenever we want some for us and we make a quart sip lock bag for the dog at the same time. This ice maker is just a maker and does not keep the ice frozen in the maker so getting it into the freezer is necessary ASAP. A few gentle smacks of drops on the counter keep the ice broken apart in the freezer for easy dispensing. We like this little ice maker so well we are thinking of getting a few for Christmas gifts for our daughter and three granddaughters.

I purchased the Euhomy Countertop Ice Maker after returning a different brand, and the difference has been great so far. This one was very easy to set up and started making ice quickly. Most importantly, there was no strong chemical or plastic smell when running, and the ice tastes clean with no strange chemical taste at all. That was a major concern for me with my previous ice maker, so I was very happy with this one. It’s also noticeably quieter than the previous machine I owned. You can still hear it operating, which is expected, but the noise level is very reasonable and not bothersome. The ice comes out at a nice size, the machine is simple to operate, and overall it has worked exactly as expected. So far, I’m very happy with the Euhomy Countertop Ice Maker and would definitely recommend it.

This ice maker works great and doesn't take up too much space on the counter. I keep it right by the sink, which makes it really easy to refill. It makes ice quickly, about every six minutes, and isn't very loud while running. I mainly use it for my iced coffee in the morning and for filling up my water bottle, and it keeps up well with that. I think it's a great size for one or two people if you're using the ice as it's made rather than trying to keep a large supply ready at all times. If you need more ice for several people, you can also empty the basket into the freezer every so often to build up a stockpile. Overall, it's easy to use, easy to refill, reasonably quiet, and works well for everyday use.

I like that it is small enough to hide out on the counter or end table, it makes ice very quickly and in fact the first 12 hours we made about 10 pounds of ice. It is not very loud, not any louder than a fridge running. I found out that after 12 hours of continuous use things can go wrong. The unit had 2 red lights flashing alternating from one to the other for about 30 minutes, we shut it off and started it back up and it went back to doing the same thing. The unit had enough water, so that wasn't the problem and then it went into self cleaning mode. The Euhomy website wasn't any help so I went to YouTube and it was suggested to turn the unit off and let it set for a while and then turn it back on, so that is what we did. We let it set for 30 minutes and turned it back on and it went back to making ice and we haven't had the problem repeat since. The unit is awkward to empty remaining water so it can be cleaned, they installed a small plastic plug on the bottom of the unit that is very difficult to dislodge and replace. I don't trust the plastic carrying handle at all as it is very flimsy. We have continued making ice everyday without any more problems, we clean it out after we are done making ice, drain the water and wipe down the inside until it is dry. So far so good. 5/12/26 Update: Two years to the day we discovered some brown colored stuff in the water reservoir and upon a thou rough inspection discovered that the 9 probes that make the bullet ice, some had lost the chrome coating and starting to rust!!! To be safe we inspected the ice we had previously made and bagged in the freezer and stopped making ice with the machine. For those of you who are not educated in these things rust inside your body can make you sick, and not knowing what kind of metal the probes are made of poses a problem. The human body can tolerate iron oxide in small amounts, but this is an unknown metal so I must be cautious and dis continue using the Euhomy ice maker. I am very happy that it lasted two years and made hundreds of pounds of ice for us, and I did just purchase another Euhomy ice maker close to this model and design and if I get two years out of this one also I will be pleased. If you have a Euhomy counter top ice maker it would behoove you to keep a watch out for the coating on the probes coming off and do as we do clean the machine once a week with a recommended ice machine cleaner.

This ice-maker is a champ! The bullet shaped ice is crystal clear if the manufacturers instructions to use only purified drinking water are followed when making your ice. The model I purchased makes nine cubes per cycle so for a smaller household I can fill two one-gallon plastic freezer bags in about 2.5 hours. The first two cycles start a bit slow but once it gets rolling it kicks out the cubes much faster. Be mindful that once the cubes are moved into the removable internal holding tray you need to immediately empty the tray and bag the cubes to freeze as there is no internal frozen storage capability once the cubes have been generated. Due to space limitations the model I bought is not the larger size but for my purposes it’s excellent.

It makes ice. Not that well, but it does. Things you should know....because after reading some other reviews, i understand many do not. So, here we go. It is NOT a freezer. It really isnt even cold inside where you see the ice drop in the basket. And any photo you might see of a full basket is AI. It is not cold enough to set it and forget it. not even for 20 minutes. See the photo for your surprise..ok, its 60 degrees in that basket. Ice wont stay ice at 60 for long. They also claim it "wont stick together easily". lol ok. See the picture. Its quiet in my opinion. It has a fan running blowing air out the side of it. its not as loud as your floor fan. Can barely hear the compressor. ive made about 6 or 7 batches this morning. The first one is always clear ice. Its not cold enough. They get better, meaning actually frozen as its not transparent. The last one took 9 minutes to drop from the time it began filling with water to the time it dropped into the basket. The very last one took 8:55. Dont get me wrong, i like it. it makes ice and while its not for me (my GSD) and i dont really care about most of the things i mentioned because they arent that important to me. it makes ice quickly, so thats all i need. I am writing a review of how i see this so it may help someone else make a decision. Actually, im just letting some of you know its NOT A FREEZER and it isnt cold inside. It puts water in a cup, and then puts that cup on 9 cold metal fingers and the water freezes against those fingers. Once it gets to the basket, its NOT cold enough inside to keep the ice cold. That right there is an important fact if you think you can set it and walk away. You will be so disappointed. Check out a review on tubeyou. they test a lot of them. In that review it takes them over 8 minutes to make ice each time. Also mentions about ice melt in the basket.

The ice maker was working fine for about 6 months. Then it stopped producing ice. I emailed the company and put in a warranty claim. They responded immediately and sent me a replacement unit after they determined that the unit I had was defective. I was very impressed how quickly they responded and remedied the issue. The new unit arrived quickly and it is working fine. I highly recommend this company's brand of countertop ice makers.

I’m very happy with the ice cube maker itself. I live alone and the quantity of advice I need is pretty small. This machine is fairly loud, but at the same time it feels it’s been up pretty quickly so you don’t really have to listen to the noise too long. People are correct it is not going to keep ice frozen for long, but the melted ice quickly gets refrozen and for me at least it’s not an issue. My only problem is the silicon plug at the bottom that covers the drain hole. It is physically tethered to the bottom of the ice machine. It has a small disk at a bottom and it is tube shaped to slide into the drain hole itself. The problem is is that the plug portion separated from the disk, so it is basically a free floating object. Where I could remove the plug by pulling on the tether, now I have to force the plug from the inside of the ice bin to push it down and out. I contacted the manufacturer to inquire about a replacement, which they were happy to provide. Unfortunately, they wanted $16 - $35 for “international shipping” which is a ridiculous price to pay for something that shouldn’t have broken to begin with. This is a poorly designed drain system, which I’m guessing they are aware of. I’m thinking good customer service would be to include a dozen of these plugs was a shipping item.

The machine never worked. The return process was painful. Seller was not willing to engage and didn’t take any responsibility for the quality of the product. Amazon stepped up and kept us whole.

This ice maker packs a punch!! 🤜🧊 First batch of ice it made was little small and melted fast, but after a few rounds once it got going the ice got thicker and stayed cold no problem! this machine tells u when the ice tray is completely full, when the water is empty, And it made a large ziplock bag in under 45min! very impressed with it! it will just stop making ice when it runs out of water or is full too so you dont need to worry about it over filling :) this is my first ice machine and i couldn’t be more excited about having fresh ice in a matter of minutes!
