This works well to move my dad up in bed because I have RA and my hands cannot grab a sheet.

What a backsaver!! Works wonders and easy to wash. Buy this immediately! seriously! Hospice recommended I get this and boy, they were right.

Purchased to be used for my significant other who has mobility issues. If the person who will be using the bed pad is on the smaller side (under 5'10" or shorter than this will work for you. If they are taller, as my significant other is 6'5", this does fit him well. The material is easy to clean and easy to use but be wary that it is slick. The person can easily slide off if they are unable to keep their balance should they be sitting on it. It does help in adjusting a person since it glides easily on a bed or chair to reposition a person. Handles are strong, but you do need to be strategic on how you are pulling to ensure the weight is distributed and you are not ripping the stitching. It is padded slightly so it is comfortable to lay or sit in. At first I was tempted to return it but since I needed a backup lifter/mover I have kept it and used it in a pinch. It isn't my first choice to use due to the size (being small) and the material being too slick that he may slide out.

Grip is great but I just purchased the longest one because if you’re pulling the person up by yourself the mat pulls up from underneath them. But if 2 people are pulling them up in the bed one on each side there is no issue. It’s worth the purchase but get the full body.

Great product to move my patient while in bed without causing him discomfort or hurting my back. Highly recommend

This was the first pad with handles on it I ever had, so the concept in and of itself is super helpful in moving my mom around in the hospital bed. However, the material of the pad, although durable and washable, allows her body to slide around on top of it -she tends to slide down the bed throughout the day and night) which hides the straps underneath her making it unusable, or a few times it just pulls out from underneath. I have since ordered some other pads with less slippery material and those dont slide around as much.

Bought as a “just in case” product for my elderly mum who is bed care with Parkinson’s and dementia, the bed is always lowered at night and a crash mat put down but I was worried she may try and get out although she’s not strong enough to stand. Went in one morning and there she was on the floor, she was unharmed as she had wriggled and rolled herself out but the difficulty would have been getting her back in safely with the only normal real option to be waiting for an ambulance, this could take many hours due to the circumstances, a wait that clearly wouldn’t have done her any good. With a simple roll we were able to get her onto this transfer mat and lift her safely and comfortably back onto the bed, if we never have need of it again then it’s still been worth every penny. It’s made from a good strong material with all the handles securely stitched, easy to clean, takes up very little space when folded and an absolute godsend should you ever need it.
