Logitech K270 Full Size Wireless Keyboard for Windows - Rose

I purchased this keyboard so I could move laptop off my small desk with dual monitors. I think it does its job, I just wish there was light/led indicator for the caps and on/off switch. Since I can’t do 4 1/2 stars , it gets 4 stars. 2 days later… I see that that there is a caps light!!!

As someone super picky about keyboards, this one easily takes a top spot for me. The keys feel incredibly smooth and buttery, they’re nice and quiet, and the battery life is fantastic. The key texture is super satisfying to type on, too. Just a heads-up: make sure you look carefully in the cardboard packaging for the USB receiver—it’s hidden in there and really easy to miss! Overall, an amazing, budget-friendly keyboard that I highly recommend.

So cute it made my coworker buy one. If you have newer Apple products you will likely need an adapter, this uses the older USB, but they're small so nbd. Great price and works well. The keys are pleasant to hear and use and not too loud, the key caps can be taken off easily to dust and clean if necessary. 10/10 because part of my gripe with any electronic device is difficulty cleaning since most don't handle moisture/cleaners well or have parts you cannot reach. I also have a coordinated Logitech green/pink/white mouse and they're so perfect together. I actually want to sit at my desk and use them because both the mouse and keyboard are so comfortable and are a nice change from the black/gray/silver of most electronics and desks. The keyboard color in person matches the pictures and regardless of the fact that I bought the mouse years ago (maybe 2021?) the pinks are the same or are so close I cannot tell the difference. Getting it set up and using it was easy for me, a non tech person (IT was relieved) and there is a space for the USB to hide in the back of the keyboard for transporting or if you need to unplug/not in use for a long weekend or vacation. I personally unplug and turn off my electronics and found that nice since it helps keep everything organized. But if you are like me and have the two Logitechs and they both use USBs, the USBs are the same size and not marked by the company so it'd be easy to get them confused (obviously only an issue if you need to take one somewhere else). And just like with the mouse, the on/off switch is easily accessible, just remember you turned it off when you come back. I have no idea what computers we use at work, just that the operating system is Windows and everything worked fine, IT had no issue other than giving me a hard time for having a pink keyboard and mouse. I knew my mouse worked with my MacBook Pro I have at home so I wasn't worried about the keyboard's compatibility when I needed to bring it home for a weekend. Definitely happy I got this and might buy another one so I can have a keyboard at home permanently for when I do a lot of typing since I do prefer the more traditional keyboard to the flat one the laptop comes with and having them being separate helps with posture.

Comfortable, good-looking. Nice selection of extra keys for media at the top. I haven't had an problem with typing on these keys as some have said, but I learned to type in the army and when the army wants you to learn something, you damn well learn it, especially if you want to get the heck out of signal school in Georgia! No connectivity issues. Biggest concern is that a couple of the keys seem to be starting to have issues after only 15 months of use. Though to be fair it is a LOT of use - it's for business.

This year, I've been getting more serious about my home and how I want things to be here. One of those things that I've long thought about but only recently put any real effort into is the living room "atmosphere". I've long had dreams of a great audio-video entertainment setup out there, and this year it all came into focus for me and I finally knew what I wanted to do. Believe it or not, this keyboard is central to that idea, though I also recently killed my desktop computer's wired keyboard, so now it's seeing use full time. Basically, my living room now has an excellent 5 speaker (two fronts, two rears and a subwoofer) sound system, and a TV wired to the secondary video output of my desktop computer. That TV is soon going to be replaced by a Vizio 32" Smart HDTV unit, so that the computer's video will be clear enough to use properly without a magnifier application to help with reading print on-screen. That's where this keyboard comes in. I needed a wireless keyboard that could work the computer from the living room (the desktop machine is in the bedroom) without pesky signal dropout issues and thus nitpicky placement. I'm pleased to say that so far it works perfectly. I paired it up with a Logitech M510 Wireless Mouse, and though the mouse's placement is indeed a little picky, the keyboard works great. Now I can sit out there and bring up whatever I want on the computer, be it a video file, some YouTube or Amazon Instant Video entertainment, music, or my usual run of mad science research, no problemo. I can even check my bank account, pay my bills, all the usual things I do when I'm at the computer properly. Once I get the HDTV, I'll be able to do all that and more without the blurry, indistinct detail that goes with a CRT television. Skyrim in HDTV and Bose surround sound, OMG **** yes. :-) So what is this keyboard really like? Well, it's thin, it's very compact, it's very light, and it does feel a bit cheap. That said, it's got little feets in the back to prop it up at an angle, which gives the feel of a proper keyboard, and thank the Gods, it's a full, proper, keyboard layout with no sensation of the keys being scrunched together. At least, I don't notice it, and I type using just my left thumb and both index fingers WITHOUT looking at the keyboard (don't ask me how I learned to do that, but I can wing out 40WPM easy now this way), so keyboard format is EVERYTHING to me. It speaks volumes that I could go over to this thing so quickly and not immediately hate it, like how I feel about my laptop keyboard. I would NOT be hard on this thing, physically - I don't feel like it's built to be durable under abuse. I also would NEVER spill anything on it if at all possible, because surely it would be easy to kill this way and you don't want to go killing your nice wireless keyboard. I don't use mouse or keyboard software, so I can't comment on that. What I can tell you is that I really like this thing, I'm impressed by its range and I'm good with how it feels, and definitely I'd buy it again. Nice, especially if you need something super portable, reasonably compact, and very lightweight. It also has an on/off switch for those times that you want to save battery power... though I'm not sure it's really necessary. Nice keyboard! a little background, for the past 5 years I have used a wireless keyboard from a generic company. only recently the wireless transmitter has finally started to go wonky so I set out to get a new keyboard. I tried going on the cheap (got a rocketfish keyboard for $20 on black friday, avoid like the plague) I tried going a little more expensive (got a microsoft keyboard and while it worked adequately, the wireless dongle jutted out in an oblong way that made it difficult for taking it with me) until I finally got this logitech here. first off is the size, it's a compact keyboard, no hand rest and no side buttons like a lot of other keyboards I've used, but it has all full-size keys for the standard buttons so even with its compact size and my mid-large hands I had no issue typing quickly and comfortably.the keyboard is about 17-18 inches long which aloud me to just barely fit it into my book bag which was a definite plus for me since I cannot stand using the computers at my college but I also can't stand the tiny keyboard on my 10.1 inch netbook! the bottom of the unit has a slight curve to it along with the bottom row of keys which I also like since it makes the space bar much larger than a standard rectangle keyboard. the keyboard has eight special hot key buttons which out of the box let you: pause/play a video, mute the sound, lower the volume, raise the volume, go to your homepage, open your email, put the computer on standby, and open a calculator (oddly enough this was the key that got me to finally order this keyboard since it's always ends up being one of my most used hotkeys on any keyboard.) these keys are easy to hit and are actually configurable with the set-point software, more on that later. the keyboard also has an on/off switch. the keyboard is very responsive, with no lag from my testing. one thing that isn't noted in the description is that these keys are fairly loud, personally I like my keys to have a resounding clack to them but that might not be the case for someone else. the unifying receiver is great, it's tiny, is very responsive, and can be used with any other product that uses the same receiver saving usb ports. something that is actually incorrect in the description is the customizability of the keys. it says in the chart in the description that this keyboard can't customize its hotkeys. but after installing the set-point software off of logitech's website I can confirm that they ARE! the keys are easily customizable to initiate just about any program or command. another neat feature is that through the software you can disable keys that are not used very often or cause difficulty in some situations, you can disable keys like the caps lock or scroll lock that serve little purpose during normal use and you can also disable the windows key which is a godsend for anyone who enjoys playing games (the amount of times in the last few years that I have accidentally bumped it during a heated match only to have to wait a minute before I can get back in is easily in the hundreds if not thousands so this made my day.) the battery life of this keyboard is long. I have been using it for over a week and the set-point software still says that the batteries are full. they say it should last 3 years so as of now it appears to be living up to that claim! overall this is a solid keyboard, it has just enough buttons, a small enough amount that they don't get in the way of a casual user but also just enough that a heavy user can still set up macros and make the keyboard their own. everything is just as you'd want it to be. if you're in the market for a new keyboard, do yourself a favor and consider this one. you won't be disappointed.

I use one of these keyboards every day at work and I like it so much I ordered one for home. It is comfortable, responsive, and lightweight. It doesn't take up as much room as a lot of them. My only issue is the feet that fold out aren't the strongest. The ones at work are broken off so I 3d printed some replacements and made them a little longer and they work fine. The batteries last quite a long time as well, and I rarely ever turn the keyboard off.

Bought in June this year and its already disconnecting frequently in August. So frustrating. I don't know why this is such a popular keyboard with so many people having the same issue. UPDATE: 8/17: Put new batteries in and now working great. Must have been the batteries it came with. Hope that helps someone.

This keyboard is everything they say it is, and has a great rebound feel to the keys that professionals like, without being noisy. Syncs with laptop immediately, no delay

I first bought one in July 2015 which has worked flawlessly since. So when my wife asked for a new keyboard I got her one too. You can see in my photo that the keyboard layout is the same on the two I have received. Note, this layout is different to the one currently shown in this listing's photos. In particular, my two are UK layouts as they have a £ sign. Several reviewers has said that the unifying receiver was missing. The included single page instructions suggest the unifying receiver will be found tucked in behind the back of the keyboard, where there is a slot. But it is not. They have a slot for it directly on the cardboard box. The listing has a photo showing this. After removing the plastic strip from the batteries, like another reviewer, I too thought that they weren't working. So, I took them out and reinserted them, and all started working fine. On a side note, I was worried that there would be an issue using two of the same keyboards in the same room but they worked fine independently right from the start, without me bothering to install any software on my wife's PC.
