I really like the 300 calories, packaging for shelfs, amount, flavor, and easy of one minute microwaving. The meat and potato is like a home cooked meal with the protein you need. Nice job big company. Future easy food. Decent price point.

This review is for the Hormel Complete "Swedish Meetballs", it is a really good item!As usual, I always need more than just this meal, though if you have a roll or a price of bread (1-2) , you could add it and that would be great.I usually like to add a half a can of veggies!This meal, is a prepackaged meal which makes it easier for those who can not cook or if you are to busy to cook. It is also great for a go-bag. Incase of an emergency.This meal is precooked, which is amazing.I love that! All you just need to do is just pop it into the microwave for a few and you have yourself a nice hot meal, even if you do not have anything to add to it.A great shelf stable food for you.A great item for the elderly.A great item for a teenager, who can't cook.Perfect for someone who is disabled.Also, great for those with depression.(They may be to depressed to cook but "know" they must eat.)I personally am a single mother with autism, raising an Autistic daughter and I do not currently have a stove (but I also don't really know how to cook either), but these meals are a way that we can have a nice home-cooked meal. Both myself and my daughter can easily make these.The Flavor: Good, my daughter likes it alot. I personally don't care for it as much (but everybody's taste-buds are different).(To me personally it is alright but I like the roast-beef and mashed potatoes, with salt & pepper and veggies, either peas, carrots and peas, or corn, sometimes green beans.)The freshness: Well, it is a prepackaged food. It is actually good.Value: I actually did not mind the price at all, I normally wouldn't pay that much for meal but I love that it is pre cooked.I also like how long the meal lasts, before it expires. Hormel Compleats have their place in my life. I dont rely on these for regular use, but boy do they come in handy for a quick light meal as is, or for use in emergency situations. Basically a meal, ready to eat. Eat it cold or heat it up. Of course heated up is preferred. I recommend trying different ones out. I like the Turkey and dressing one the most, but the meatloaf and mashed potatoes is pretty good. "Good" is a funny descriptor here. We're not talking gourmet. It is shelf stable food. So it is good as far as all that goes. Also, not big portions. If you eat like a bird, this may be enough for you. If were eating it as a dinner, I would need a whole lot more. So plan on having sides with it add volume. Times I eat it as is is when dinner is a ways off, and I hadnt really eaten much during the day. I want something.. but I dont want snack food. This gives me that real food vibe, and doesnt take time or effort to prepare.Keep expectations low and you may find these to be rather delightful.I dont buy them all, and I dont necessarily like them all. But I have a few that I tend to crave, this being one of them. They have A LOT to choose from, in this listing and other listings. So as I wrote earlier, just give different ones a try as you may really dislike some and find that there are a few you really like.
