Great soldering aid!!
The hardest thing about soldering silver is making sure there are zero gaps between surfaces you want to solder. THIS fixes THAT problem! Titanium is not a heat sink, unlike my third hand. I used two of these, just bent so that there was a little pressure holding my bezel wire down on the back plate. Perfect! No gap. I'm so happy! Edited to add that I found another use for these. Sometimes I want to solder a bail on the back of a pendant, etc. I can usually manuever it so that the two pieces are level. This stuff is so versatile.

Pretty cool.
These are fantastic. Still trying to shape them evenly for use.

Good product.
Excellent transaction in every way.

Slightly smaller than advertised
As others have noted, these are NOT 0.1 inch thick - if they were, they'd be too thick to be useful. The ones I got are 1mm thick, 5mm wide, and just OVER 100mm long. Each weighs about 2.25g, exactly what I'd expect for .5cc of titanium. I'm pleased with the product. Recommended.

Really unusual but in certain situations invaluable.
I don't know if clamp is the right word to use for these but sometimes you really do need to make a small jig or some form of holder for something you're doing with the old soldering equipment. Titanium is a very odd metal and obviously this has to be an alloy because it allows bending and titanium is traditionally very brittle. But even if it is a very low percentage alloy, titanium transfers heat very poorly, that's one of the reasons you can use it in high temp applications to grab and otherwise manipulate hot objects without the heat traveling down the titanium material very well. In my case you can use it to create little sawhorse style stands to hold boards up away from another surface or you can definitely use them to keep heat sinks that are very large upright while you de-solder them from a thick printed circuit board. I can't think of too many uses but the uses I can think of I wouldn't be able to use much of anything else. I couldn't use a paper clip instead of the strength of these strips. You could also could especially grind these to give special ends for manipulation while desoldering, perhaps a small forked end or a notch that allows you to grab and hold the edge of a metal fin from a heat sink or something to help pluck it off while it's too hot to hold. Basically if you have to create custom jigs for your soldering or brazing, consider getting this as a little helper material that's just consumable. Obviously even if it's alloyed, you're not going to be able to re-bend it an infinite number of times. It'll probably snap if manipulated it too much.

Versatile Titanium Clamps: An Indispensable Tool for Soldering and Creative Projects
I'm thrilled to have discovered the Megacast Titanium Clamps! While they are marketed as clamps, their functionality extends far beyond that simple description. These slender metal strips are exceptionally versatile and easy to bend and shape, allowing them to transform into a variety of tools tailored to your specific needs. In my experience, they are indispensable for soldering electronics. Their adaptability makes them equally valuable for jewelry making or any craft that requires precise tooling under high temperatures. The high-quality titanium ensures durability and reliable performance, even in demanding environments. As someone who is visually impaired, these clamps have become a crucial part of my toolkit. They serve as a sort of board-level white cane, enabling me to feel the components I need to solder and accurately guide the soldering iron. This innovative use significantly enhances both my workflow and safety, allowing me to work more confidently and efficiently. Additionally, these clamps help prevent solder bridges thanks to their excellent heat resistance. The heat from the soldering iron doesn't transfer quickly up the strip, allowing me to handle them without fear of burns. This safety feature is particularly important when working with delicate electronics or intricate jewelry pieces. Their malleability encourages creativity, enabling me to craft a variety of tools limited only by my imagination. Whether you're a professional solderer, a hobbyist, or someone who works with hot materials, these clamps offer unparalleled flexibility and reliability. I'm genuinely pleased to have found these Megacast Titanium Clamps and wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone who works with solder or needs reliable tools for handling hot materials. They have truly transformed the way I approach my projects, and I'm confident they will do the same for you.

Titanium
Titanium is a really impressive material. It resists oxidation at high temperatures and the thin oxide layer that does form usually prevents it from getting soldered itself. This material could probably be used to make tools for other high temp applications too.

It's titanium
They're a little smaller than I expected (about 95mmร5mmร1mm), but they worked well. The edges are pretty sharp and you could probably cut something if you didn't pay attention. The edges can be eased reasonably easily with a diamond file, though titanium dust is particularly messy (and potentially toxic, so be careful). It's hard to bend into an acute angle, and, if you do, it'll work-harden and break if you try to unbend it. But it definitely does the job. It definitely holds its shape much better than your intuition says it will. And that shape-holding lends itself well to putting pinch pressure on another object. Almost as good as spring steel while still retaining some malleability.
