I can’t wait to get started with using these pieces! Everything arrived as per the images and it is in its own little box (a plain brown box inside the Amazon package). The reviews that mention designs that are double sided are correct, there’s a collection of A4 double sided printed designs, but I will perhaps use these as templates and try putting a sheet of parchment paper or maybe a plastic divider over it so I can see through and re-do the designs - rather than gluing directly onto the templates. The instructions seem to include reference to a battery operated quilling winder, which is sadly not in the box. It’s not a problem because it was never promised to be in there, but now I want one! As a girl, I had a quilling set, but I never had access to tools or shape templates like this. Very happy with this set. The only thing is i think I could do with another quilling tool and the guide also mentioned a “quilling knitter”, which I also want 😅. I guess I know what I’m buying next…

The kit is fab... Brilliant for beginners and advance. I have one only issue and that's the little crimping machine has broken. The plastic on the inside of the turning handle has snapped. Now the crimping rollers don't turn. I'm trying to speak to someone to get a replacement but alas Amazon make it truly impossible for me to contact the seller. I havw now had to start a refund which I do not want to do. Other than that (mainly amazon), everything else with the kit is really good and I would definitely recommend!! 😁

The heart is my first attempt and I think I nailed it, I found the tools really easy to use. The papers are very bright and colourful, with a vast array of beautiful colours, most importantly the size, texture and quality of the paper make it easy to quill. This box is packed with multiple tools and I’d say my purchase was definitely value for money. The instructions could have been a little better but overall I’m pleased with my purchase and would recommend it to both beginners and accomplished quillers. Many thanks enjoy!

Nice beginner kit

My 7 yr old granddaughter stayed with us during the Easter holiday and I thought it would be a good idea to try quilling with her, so I bought some basic materials. She found it fairly easy just doing the very basic shapes but her hands got a little tired after a while. She said she very much enjoyed quilling so after asking her if she would like a set for her birthday, she said yes so I have bought her this one.

In the sales pictures for this product, one can see a pile of cards with images on, for you to add quilling. In reality there are only a couple, and they are double-sided, effectively halving how many are usable. They do not match the examples shown in the pictures. One is a word in a language I do not recognize. The product is made in China, and I would have been happy with an English or Chinese word, but not some undeclared language. The various tools were all in unnecessary plastic bags, such a waste of resources. The "instructions" are dire. They include items that are not in the set. Images are cut in half. A couple of the tools included are new to me. I will watch videos on how to use them, as the "instructions" are pretty much useless. The included paper strips are nice, and there are lots of them. I needed quilling papers in a hurry, so I am keeping this product. But if I had bought it for a present, it would have been going back.

This is the second set I bought to refresh my memory, I didn’t need it as I bought another at the same time which was pretty much identical. However it gives me double of the moulds etc that could come in handy. The actually quilling tools I don’t use as I bought something more substantial/ professional as it was like riding a bike. I hadn’t forgot. Great kit for a beginner though.
