The force is strong in this one
The quality is perfect for kids - sturdy and robust - but able to take a clash or two. The sound takes me back to my youth as well. For the money I was very happy.

Decent Star Wars toy
8 year old loves this. Extends, lights up, makes a few noises, happy days. Separates in 3-4 pieces and the sabre can be removed. Seems quite robust and certainly much better than a fair ground type toy. Worth the extra few pounds.

Disappointed
Lightsaber appeared sturdy, my son was super excited with it. Used twice, on second use battling his brother the red retractable bit broke off from the base. Boys are 6 & 7 which seems a perfect age to use this. Sure they could have been more gentle but what is the purpose of a play lightsaber if it can’t withstand normal play? The green one which has a different plastic remained intact but the red one just didn’t cut it.

Get a blue one too if you want it to work
This green light sabre doesn’t light up. It needs the filler from a blue one to work properly!

Great for kids
This is a brilliant lightsaber with motion battles sounds and light. For any kid who loves Star Wars and wants to be on the dark side they will love battling with you. Well worth it
