Shower Filter System

This product is beautifully priced for what it does & IT IS A NECESSITY TO filter ALL your home water--DON'T TRUST OTHERS TO DECIDE WHAT GOES INTO YOUR PRECIOUS BODY!!! THAT'S YOUR LIFE!! Now I don't have breathing issues in the shower, the water feels amazing & my hair and skin are happy from it! yeh!! It's amazing how effortless it is to brush my hair after a shower now, SOOO much softer. AND it didn't affect my water pressure at all, YEH!! I was worried that I'd have to just throw it out for I thought that it would make the water pressure be horrible (my building doesn't have the best water pressure to begin with yet my super rigged mine to work well when I moved into the place)...so you can see why I was worried, yet I installed this myself and no problems yeh!! SUPER easy to install, just need plumbers tape and a wrench to unscrew the existing setup you have. AND THE PLUMBERS TAPE EVEN COMES IN THE BOX SO IT'S ALL THERE, SUPER COOL--ALTHOUGH THE SELLER SHOULD MENTION SUCH IN THE DESCRIPTION SO YOU DON'T END UP GETTING AN EXTRA PLUMBERS TAPE (it;s really cheap, yet who needs 2 of them lying around when I'll probably never use both tapes)BUY THIS FOR YOUR HEALTH, YOU WON'T REGRET IT!!!!

I love having my shower filter back. I love having a shower that does not make me all itchy. We moved, and our last shower filter was in a situation where we lived in a MOLDY apt, so we left it in the MOLD palace. WE had to get rid of most everything and start our life over. I did not realize how important that last shower filter was to my happiness and wellbeing. I had been quite itchy and bothered, I would take hot showers to help warm me up in the winter, and I was a hot, Welty and Itchy Mess. The filter is AMAZING. I can take a shower again and not get all Welty and itchy. I wish I would have thought of it sooner. Chlorine is not my friend. I Love this filter. I have not tried the Aromatherapy ring yet. I think mint might be lovely when when hubby gets stuffy. The filter is SUPER easy to install, I have done it in the past; but I am short and it is just easier for my hubby to instal it. Plus hubby likes to install stuff. The filter comes with the Plumber’s Tape to help get a good fit. The filter has worked well with every shower I ever had. I always replace the shower head with one that can be a hand held with different settings. If you have a regular shower head, might make your showerhead hang lower {so if are tall, you might want to change your showerhead to a handheld one that is UBER adjustable.}. The replacement filters are easy to find on amazon, and even health foood stores. You only need to replace them once a year. I set a reminder, with Alexa.

Been using these for 10+ years. Work really well- can feel difference in my skin when I haven’t used it vs have. Bought for my bfs family (stayed over and our skin was super dry after showering there so bought them one). Really easy to install, no change in water pressure - excellent quality and value

I have previously ordered this filter for my shower because I have hard water in my area. It does filter out the hard water for a while, about 3-4 months before I start seeing hard water stains again in my shower. My skin and hair do seem less dry and during the winter months it is nice not to feel like a brillo pad coming out of the shower. My only one complaint this time is getting the filter to not leak. No matter how I turn it when I attach it to my shower, it leaks and sprays a little water! I can kind of angle it so that it sprays towards a corner in the shower and not spray out towards the door or the ceiling, but it is kind of annoying. Since this is the first time this has happened, I will just chalk it up to a slight defect with this filter. I will definitely order another one in the future.

WOW, I can't believe how effective this unit is. It does everything it claims. It's not a soft water unit so you will not have that feeling of still having soap on you, the effect is the complete opposite. What you experience is being totally clean in half the time of rinsing than what we normally experience. I'll try to explain. The water is so clean that it's like rinsing with water on steroids as it rinses the soap off you extremely fast. You can feel how much more cleaner you are when you go to towel dry as there's a very fast friction created when rubbing the towel over your skin then what has been before the filter was installed. Basically you don't have any soapy residue left on your body creating less friction when you towel dry.I am claiming by adding this filter, the water is so clean now making it very strong in the rinsing stage which aces me squeaky clean which is exactly why I bought the unit for. Highly recommend, I'm so happy!!!

Finally, a filter that doesn't leak! I had a white filter by this brand purchased through Vitacost prior to a reno bath-shower conversion and it worked well, However, Vitacost did not have any offering for a chrome finish, so I assumed it was only available in white. Thus, I shopped around and tried some brand from Lowes. It leaked. I tried another brand ordered through Walmart. It leaked. So I thought to do a search of this brand to see if they had other models and happily, Amazon popped up with it in a chrome finish! It fits perfectly, was a breeze to install, and doesn't leak!! More importantly, I had developed a dry area on my back during my gap using other brands and it has since healed to be smooth skin again. I am delighted, though I do wish the price was on par with other brands. However, it is within financial reach and since I'm the only one using the shower, it lasts longer anyway. Great product! Buy it and maybe they'll eventually lower the price with volume sales? We can hope!

So, it's a nice shower filter. What can I say. ;-) Amazon shipped and sold this. I requested the free shipping and it came much faster than expected. Thanks Amazon. This was like $25 more at Whole Foods, which likes to eat my Whole wallet. I started getting things like this after watching the movie Tapped. Here's the premise: corporate interests are after the next best thing from oil. Namely, water. It is an $800+ billion dollar business in just bottled water alone. Many years ago, people said "why would I buy bottled water when I can just get it from the tap" Enter the sucker and the sucker's kids. Don't worry, I'm one too. OK, so companies like Nestle are using natural, untouched water supplies in places like beautiful Maine, for free! Then turning around and selling this for huge profits to people in the name of Poland Spring. Problem 1: drought and depletion of natural resources. In the future (20 years), there will only be enough water for 1/3 of the population. The other 2/3s will be licking their lips and wishing they were living next to a REALLY good water filter. Note: All public water is regulated and CONSTANTLY tested. Bottled water is not. I can put jack squat in effort into making a new bottled water company and I don't have to publicly declare this unless someone happens to inquire. Hmm. . Problem 2: The bottled water you buy is made from the same chemicals as Petroleum. Once the sun hits it, there IS EVIDENCE that this will leak/leech/what have you into your water. Next step, you drink it then feel sick. Symptoms in the long-term are associated with diabetes, dementia, obesity, cancer, you name it. Problem 3: The bottles we use are being chucked out into natural water supplies. Most of the oceans in the world are a slurry of junk that no one really cares to pick up. I'm pointing at you polluter! You know who I'm talking about. Back to the water filter. If you get this, you may think about changing your shower head so that you don't push out any residual. Pro: No more odd smelling water. I live in Chicago and the water here is treated with high amounts of Chlorine. Not good for the body, skin, hair, etc. I remember in places like New York, the water was great. Cons: None Note: As a further note, let's all do our part to help the environment. Right? We all have to live in this world and we can't keep just messing things up. Our kids are gonna have a long time to deal with this and so will we if we want to live here. I hear the moon has some places for rent. Any takers? Nah, didn't think so. Put your hand down polluter!

I have bought this filter and set up for the past year. I have had a headache with each one. Not working properly..spent $$$ dollars for the last year and this product is extremely defective. I will never buy again. I switched to Aqua Bliss and hopefully this one will work the way it is supposed to. The Aqua Bliss has so exceeded my expectations. Water pressure great, no itching afterwards and no tangles like the other one did. Wished I had started off with this one instead.

I didn't know I had nice hair until I started using this shower filter. My skin also glows because the chlorine doesn't dry it out anymore. Use this shower filter and change your showering life.

Easy to install. Bought it to check if it helps in reducing hair fall since my building gets tanker water. After 2 months use, I can see some difference. Hair fall has reduced marginally.

Been using this filter for about 2 or so weeks now, and it’s made a big difference in terms of how my curly hair locks in moisture. Immediately I noticed the softness of my curls and skin under the water, and my curls are beginning to become more defined (it’s not ALL the filter. I’m using natural, chemical-free products and doing my best not to eat chemical-ladened foods — but the filter FOR SURE took it to the next level). My skin is also less dry, and showering has become a worry-free time for me. I don’t have to think about what my hair and body might be absorbing from the water. Will definitely purchase this again when the year is up! Side note: I tried the aroma ring, but perhaps I didn’t put in enough essential oils or my shower isn’t hot enough because I can’t really smell anything (I have an angled pipe, so maybe that’s also an issue). But, as this was a bonus to the main reason for purchasing, I don’t really mind.

Love the new wave shower filter.. no Chlorine smell any longer and hair is much better condition. Skin feels better too. A great investment.
